Amazing lake home in a secluded neighborhood. This property is perfect for families! The basement provided numerous options with a pool table, table tennis and large variety of arcade games. The boat dock had a number of kayaks, paddles boards and was perfect for fishing. A short drive into town for groceries and supplies, as well as local restaurants to enjoy.

Needed a last minute break with the kids and we all really enjoyed our time here. Close drive to the state park beach area, too.

This was our second year booking with Dan and Jill, and we were again very pleased with our choice. The home is cozy, quiet, and on a fantastic cove that’s just right for our crew. The deer were aplenty, and the weather perfect. With linens and bath towels now included in the rental, it really is such an easy decision. Can’t wait for next year.

We had a very enjoyable stay, had everything we needed in a quiet location. Paul and Jennifer put a lot of character into the space with games and fun items for their guests to enjoy. A nice outside space to with a fire pit and chairs. Paul was an excellent host with great communication, very helpful, we could not have asked for anything more. I highly recommend any properties hosted by Paul.

Mary was a wonderful host! She took the time to answer my questions in a timely manor and was extremely helpful! The farmhouse was in a beautiful setting and was very peaceful! It had the amenities listed and had some extra touches too. The house was exactly as listed and was perfect for out family! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and listening to the creek! The bedrooms were comfortable and the space in the farmhouse allowed for gathering with family. I would definitely recommend staying here! Mary is wonderful to work with!

We loved our stay at the cottage. There was plenty of space for the kids to play outside and they loved seeing the farms nearby. The kitchen and bathroom were nicely updated and we were just close enough to town to be nearby to friends and still feel like we had plenty of space.

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

It is always a pleasure to stay with Angelique. Her property is always clean and fresh. It feels like coming home and is very cozy. The amenities are wonderful and Angelique thinks of everything when she adds her personal touches to the apartment. She is always pleasant and responsive. This is a great place to stay because you are not in the heart of the city and that takes you away from the hustle and bustle, the noise, and all the traffic in town. This is just a great place to go and unwind and feel welcomed and happy.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Keeping it Real! The condo was comfortable and clean and with a gorgeous lake front view. We had an extra request upon checking in and Reginald was very accommodating. I would stay again!

I must say this was my first experience with ever staying in a Airbnb and wanted a change from a hotel and very glad we decided to give this a try. Tammy was an absolutely awesome host very responsive and a very nice lady. The description matches everything. Very beautiful property and very clean.

Great stay. Cute condo right above restaurant and store. Brought my SUP and used it a lot. Lots to do at Mariner’s landing. Great food and service at The Landing, Bruno’s and Bottles and Bites. State Park 7 minutes away is excellent for hiking. Lots of friendly neighbors! We’re ready to go back!!

Beckham is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. His place is exactly what he describes it as- an easy, inexpensive and comfortable place for families traveling with dogs. We have a large dog and the house and yard were perfect for his high energy.

Judy was very responsive leading up to and throughout our stay. Her place was very nice and a welcome respite for our family. The pool is a few steps from the condo and looks out on the lake, providing a very calming experience. Would stay there again.

Great for anyone traveling for work or staying for more than a few nights at a time. Stephen was extremely helpful and friendly ensuring we had everything we needed and answered every question quickly. Very creative and our kitty loves this place, she’s been running and climbing since we arrived.

My family and I had a wonderful stay here! Jane provided detailed instructions, was quick to respond to messages, and was a very gracious host. As she mentions in the description, cell service is hard to get, but I did consistently have one bar on the second floor, and the wifi worked reasonably. For a spacious place that accommodates a large group (even littles), I highly recommend Jane’s cabin!

This little apartment is actually a lot nicer than the photos suggest. Situated in a quiet neighborhood in the countryside, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Brianna is a great host, very responsive and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved Mosely Manor! My family of 5 and our 2 dogs fit perfectly and had everything we needed to make a college visit to nearby Liberty University. The location is great on a neighborhood side street within 8-10 minutes of campus and restaurants, etc. Kathryn was a great host providing some flexibility for us and offering late checkout for a very reasonable fee. The home is very clean and decorated nicely with some nice bonuses like family games and lots of kitchen necessities. The backyard is decent size with a large deck if you want to relax and eat outside. Overall great stay and very thankful for great hosts!

Our stay was amazing , great views, really quiet and peaceful, lake side access and views, we loved the kayaks available, the place was clean and cozy. The mosquitoe screen in the porch is something you’ll appreciate when having dinner or lunch outside ! Great stay over all

We had an amazing stay at Ryan’s Airbnb! The location was perfect, and we especially appreciated that it was pet-friendly—it truly was a godsend for us as we were moving to the area. The space was comfortable, clean, and made a stressful time feel a bit more like home. Highly recommend to anyone visiting or relocating nearby!

Kerry's home was wonderful--spacious, comfortable with all the main amenities you'd want, easy to find, quiet and peaceful in the country just a few minute drive into town. She checked on us as soon as we drove in and made sure we had everything we needed. it was a perfect place to call home for a few nights.
