Welcome to Cedar’s Rest. Nestled in between surrounding Cedars, centered in a 26 acre hayfield just minutes from the blue ridge parkway. Read a book while lying on the hammock listening to all the beautiful sounds of nature. It’s great for birding and watching wildlife. Two bedrooms with plush King beds. Full bathroom with walk-in shower, full sized stove, and refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, Grill, WIFI and television! Outside you can enjoy a covered deck or sit around the fire pit.

1 room offgrid cabin fenced in and private overlooking Stoney Creek includes queen size bed, table and chairs along with outside relaxing area. Solar charging for lights, phone, ceiling and window fans. Mr. Buddy propane space heater to stay warm. Gas/propane generator for running AC. Hot shower and bathroom 100 yards away. Offgrid cabin is located 5 miles from Blue Ridge Parkway and Appalachian Trail, just minutes from Bedford. Very peaceful and quiet next to the mountain stream.

Black Water Junction Cabin

Our cabin is built out of old wood and doors found on the farm. Because I am such a cold natured person, I installed heated floors and a heated towel bar in addition to the mini-split and electric fireplace! The cabin is surrounded by pastures that are the home to our cows, horses, goats, pot belly pig, and chickens. The highlight of a stay at BWJ Cabin would be to sit on the front porch in a rocking chair, day bed swing or hot tub looking out over the landscape and do nothing.
