Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Belknap County

Peaceful, relaxing, & all the comforts of home. Lyvie’s home is super-clean & very comfortable- plenty of room to relax & unwind. As soon as we walked in we felt at home. Lyvie is a wonderful host w/ excellent communication from booking thru checkout. She thought of every detail to make us feel welcome & have a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well-stocked w/ everything we needed; there’s plenty of space & comfy seating inside & on the screenporch; the beds/bedding/pillows were very comfortable. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at the clean, peaceful & well-maintained community pool. Lyvie is so thoughtful,& clearly cares about her home & her guests. She went the extra mile to make sure we had a great stay, she really thought of everything so we didn’t have to. The location is great- the neighborhood is peaceful, quiet & serene, we could even hear the wind blowing thru the trees. And, you can drive a few minutes & be in the middle of the ‘action.’ If I could give 10 stars, I would!

Beautiful home on beautiful property. We came to see the autumn colors and the trees surrounding the home were so vibrant! Quiet, calming and relatively close to a lot of great things to do. Everything was very clean and it was nice having separate bathrooms upstairs. There was a light musty smell mostly on the main floor that people with allergies might be sensitive to. Also to note, the main house and the guesthouse are attached, but there is a private driveway coming from Munsey Hill Rd to the guesthouse that wasn’t clear on our phone maps. Overall a great stay and great home!

We had a great stay at Brandon’s place. The house is cozy and clean, and the location right on the lake made it really special. We grilled every night, used the kayaks during the day, and hung out by the fire pit in the evenings. It was super quiet and peaceful, and the view from the dining table made board games and meals even better. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the whole space just had a really relaxed, homey feel. Brandon was easy to communicate with and everything went smoothly. It was a great spot to unplug and enjoy some time by the water — we’d definitely come back.

A great location, and wonderful setup to accommodate multiple families. Lots of activities (indoor and out) to make time enjoyable at the home. Would definitely recommend!

The hosts are so responsive. The House is feet from the water. The provided kayaks and paddle boards were a blast! The hot tub was great if you’re more inclined towards that. Overall great place and great people! Would stay again!

The house is beautiful and the views are just breathtaking. From inside the house, you get a beautiful view of the lake and then the porch is amazing. You can kayak, use the paddle board or use the canoe. You can also sit by the lake and enjoy the campfire. The surroundings are very beautiful and peaceful. The host is very responsive, solved all our doubts and was flexible with us during check-in and check-out, which we appreciated very much. At check-in, we were greeted by a great bottle of wine and chocolates, which was a great touch. The house also has a ping pong table, books to read and board games. The kitchen was well stocked with the basics. We had an amazing stay, we highly recommend this property :)

My husband, our puppy, and I had a fantastic stay at this property! While we ran into some technical issues with the fireplace, Darryl went above and beyond to get it fixed—even during Father’s Day weekend, which we really appreciated. The home itself was wonderful: beautiful lake views from the front deck through large glass doors, an open layout with a cozy sofa, TV, and fireplace connected to the kitchen and two comfortable bedrooms. As much as we loved the indoor space, we had an even better time outside—grilling, kayaking, hanging out by the fire pit at night, and fishing. Our dog had the time of his life running freely around the yard. One night, we even had a wild nature moment when we heard some intense animal sounds echoing through the trees—definitely a memorable experience! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax, explore, and enjoy both comfort and adventure. We are definitely going back, perhaps grilling some Brazilian BBQ to Darryl and his family!

We really liked the unit. It was extremely close to the Bank of NH Pavilion which was perfect! Jordan was a great host.

Amazing view, close to everything.. Very responsive and clean..Plenty of extra parking on the lower level if you’re pulling a camper or trailer..Was my first time renting a airbnb and it was a great experience..

We can't say enough about how great this apartment was for us and how great Sandy and Tom are both as hosts and as people! Sandy is very accommodating and makes her guests feel so welcome by providing everything they might need (and also things they didn't know they needed but were glad to have!). The unit is well stocked and furnished very comfortably. The location by the lake is beautiful and it's so convenient to be right on the lake and also a short walk into town (and an even shorter drive). Our daughter and granddaughter had a lot of fun on the 2 paddle boards, and we used the canoe as well to explore the lake. There are plenty of chairs to sit by the lake, and it was really nice to sit around the firepit in the evening. We hope we'll have the opportunity to go back to Meredith and stay with Sandy and Tom again.

Sofia was very friendly and responsive and even accommodated having a friend of ours swing back over to pick up a cooler we had left after we had already checked out! The parking was a bit muddy but aside from that, everything was great. Would recommend to others!

I came there expecting to ride thru, stayed an extra day. It wasn’t just a stay, in was an experience. I had the time of my life riding thru the mountains. Best ride on my Harley my entire life thru the white mountains. THANK YOU!!

This is what New England dreams are made of. Gorgeous wood, features, surroundings, etc. The beds were comfortable, it was very warm (we stayed here in the Fall), the property is beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed the fireplace, access to our Netflix and Prime, the puzzles, and games. Fred's instructions were clear and easy to follow. His recommendations were great and we enjoyed the nearby towns. We talked often about how we want to return with more family members. It was so memorable and perfect for our party of 4, but there's enough space for 8.

A very cute basement apartment below a family home with plenty of space to explore. We had only stayed one night but would’ve felt comfortable staying longer in this lovely space. The hosts provided many snacks in a little welcome basket as well as ingredients to make breakfast sandwiches. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice retreat with a lovely space around them.

Thanks Virginia! This was the perfect stay for my son’s graduation. The location is easy to access Plymouth and Holderness. The apartment had everything I needed and your property is beautiful. Fortunately I did not meet up with any bears at Bear’s Nest.
