Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Benton Harbor

My wife and I have stayed at many vacation home rentals over the years, this one was one of the very best! First, I booked they house late afternoon on the day we wanted to arrive. Sarah responded immediately, accepted our booking and got me the access code to the property. It was all done within a few minutes! The house was beautifully decorated (my wife loved it and she is a designer!), well appointed and located very conveniently to all of the places we wanted to spend our time. We loved the hot tub, used the sauna almost every morning and our Golden Doodle loved the big fenced in back yard. Sarah and Brady are unbelievably responsive to needs too! One evening we wanted to enjoy the fire pit, but they were out of fire starters. I contacted Sarah at 7:36p, she responded at 7:37p and by 7:51 Brandy had already dropped a box of fire starters on the front porch! What?!?!?! Amazing. I HIGHLY recommend this place, we will be back!

Perfect stay. Went for a taste of the North, left with a wonderful stay at a cozy and quaint home and great memories to share with my wife. The backyard is huge, they provided more than you could ask for. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

The house was very clean and super cute! We felt safe throughout our stay and loved being so close to lots of restaurants and activities in downtown St. Joe. Ivana was a fantastic host—very responsive and helpful. The bedrooms were a good size and comfortably fit my guests and me. The kitchen was a highlight: fully stocked with everything we needed, including a great coffee bar and a countertop ice maker. The outdoor space was also great, with a firepit and wood provided. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We didn't have any trouble finding this home since it's on a main road . But as others mentioned, there was frequent traffic. However, that was not a deterrent for us. I slept in the street facing bedroom, and had no trouble with noise for sleeping. The rear yard is very lush and calming. While we didn't cook during our stay, there seemed to be all the necessities to cook and eat. Beds were comfy, linens clean and soft. Home was adequate for our needs of the weekend. Would recommend.

This was perfect for our family while we attended a wedding down the road. There were all the essentials (iron, hair dryer, room fan) and the home was very cozy and well decorated. It’s a short drive to many things like the Market (prepared and fresh produce, cafe/bar, and wine/cheese shop) and the Box Factory for the Arts (awesome art gallery). We used the queen & king beds, which were comfy. I only laid on the floor full-size bed while playing with my infant, it seemed comfy and would be good for older kids/adults. Anyway, thanks again!

Cynthia and Thomas place was great for our lake getaway. Their house is very cozy and private. Huge backyard with a fireplace, sauna, jacuzzi and lots of space for a toddler to run around. Everything was very well thought through! The house is in a secluded area of Benton harbor so you def need a car to get around but it’s a very short drive to multiple beautiful beaches. We would totally come back!

This is not just a house, but a home! The atmosphere was very homey, a home away from a home. The house was beautiful and came with everything you could possibly need for a stay! The game room was really top tier with the different board games, consoles and movies. I dont have little ones but the fact that there were toys, strollers, bottles and much more for little ones in the house made it even more amazing. I am so thankful that I got a chance to stay at their lovely home! I highly recommend this place to any couple, family, or friends that are in need of a stay! Thank you again!

Maybe the best Airbnb attached to someone’s home that I’ve ever stayed in. Such a sweet set up. Very comfortable, clean, private. Thankful for the keurig for coffee and water bottles in the frig. My stay was short but very restful and waking up to have my morning coffee out on the deck and watch the river and the birds was the highlight of my stay. Mark was very good with communicating and gave clear instructions. The Airbnb was easy to find, even in the dark. Of course being attached to their home there was a bit of noise from the kids in the morning but that wasn’t until after 9am and didn’t bother me at all. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area!

Irene and Martin were very helpful and friendly. The place was cute and clean. It was exactly what I needed, peace and relaxation. The beach was a three minute walk and it wasn’t crowded. We brought firewood and outside by the fire pit there’s nice furniture and it feels like you’re in a little woodland area with nobody around.

We immediately felt right at home in Barbara’s apartment on their family horse farm. Our children enjoyed selecting books to read from their entertainment center and playing outside with Barbara’s children. It was nice to have respite from traffic down their long lane and to be able to fully relax due to the safe picturesque country setting. We appreciated the reverse osmosis filtered water, comfortable room temperature, shower stocked with toiletries, and cozy blankets. We slept well and were refreshed and ready for another day of traveling. We would happily stay again!

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. My husband, our 15 month old, and I are moving to Ethiopia in a couple of months and we needed to spend one last time with our family. Fern’s listing was so close to where our family lived and we were able to have our own space and also spend time with family. We got to meet and visit with our host one morning and they were so friendly and welcoming!! We will definitely choose these wonderful accommodations again if we ever come back.

Loved my stay! The farm was gorgeous and so peaceful and rejuvenating. Wish I could’ve stayed longer and would definitely stay again. Dan and Suzanne were friendly and helpful and the apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. 5 stars!

We loved staying at Becky's place! extremely cute and comfortable, it exceeded our expectations.

We had an amazing time! Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night, the patio and dock were super cozy and we really enjoyed sitting out there at night just listening to music and having some drinks. Super nice area, the beach isn't too far and they have some fun bars and restaurants in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

if you're looking for a cabin in the woods this does not disappoint. Beautiful! Kelly is very responsive to questions.

Had a great time with some friends at Candy’s property! She had helpful notes and cozy decorations all over the cabin, and we took full advantage of all the amenities she had to offer. We frequently saw ducks, swans, and other wildlife passing by and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to enjoy a weekend on the lake or take a breather from their busy lives! 🎣

Amazing, peaceful, and relaxing. We spent my sister’s bachelorette weekend at the Buffalo house and it couldn’t be a better location for our Parent Trap themed weekend. The walk to the beach was short and easy. And the beach was amazing. We went to nearby New Buffalo for shops and food and it was wonderful. Couldn’t recommend this home and location enough!

We had a fabulous time! It was the perfect spot for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Patti was so kind and responsive - a perfect host. There were many spots to sit and enjoy the view. We loved the fire pit and were so grateful that it was all set and ready to use. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was. We highly recommend it!!! We will definitely be back!

Our family loves coming to this cabin. It is a wonderful place to stay with the great amenities such as the pond stocked with fish, the fire pit, grill, and walkable trails. It is such a nice place to stay and relax in the outdoors with the comfort of a cozy clean cabin to enjoy.

If you are looking for a beautiful and private and peaceful retreat, look no further! David’s place is all of the above and more! This was our second stay! The little lake ( with boat and kayak) is always fun. The house is spotless and we are welcome with cookies! Thank you so much again!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home tucked away in a peaceful rural setting. The house was full of charm and character, and the surrounding mature woods made it feel like a true escape. It's conveniently located near Three Oaks and New Buffalo, both of which offered plenty of great activities, dining, and local charm. Our dogs loved the space just as much as we did—especially the nearby dog beach! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing and pet-friendly getaway.

I've had many airbnb stays, but Jason's place was one of the best of all time. Truly, a near perfect experience for my family (wife and two young kids). The house was clean, stylish, comfortable, thoughtful stocked ... all those things, of course. But there was something magical about it, too, nestled inside the woods of Tryon Farms. Our favorite spot in the house was the screened-in back porch in the morning and evenings *chef's kiss*. Why wouldn't you book this today??
