Mettlen | Large, luxurious, with Alps view

Mettlenhof, also known as Mettlen Farm, is a restored farmhouse in Mettlen, Schopfheim, Baden-Württemberg. Built with traditional craftsmanship and natural materials, it provides a bright, welcoming space for up to 10 guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer views of rolling hills, Icelandic horses, and Scottish Blackface sheep. Herzlich willkommen in unserem kleinen Paradies! Wir haben uns über die letzten Jahre ein kleine Oase erschaffen, in der es uns an nichts mehr gefehlt hat. Von Gästezimmer, über Sauna, Whirlpool, Glamping Dome, Pavillon und Outdoor Küche umfasst unser Garten alles was man für eine gemütliche Zeit braucht. Wir wohnen am Rande einer sehr kleinen Ortschaft, etwa 14 kilometer vom Bodensee entfernt. Der Garten ist umgeben von Natur und hier in der Region lassen sich viele schöne Dinge unternehmen.

Unsere liebevoll ausgebaute Dachwohnung in einem Bauernhaus aus dem 16.Jh. ist ruhig und zentral gelegen. Bei ausgedehnten Spaziergängen in schönen Wäldern oder am idyllischen Rheinufer mit seinen zahlreichen Badeplätzen kannst du dich erholen. In 5 min erreichst du zu Fuß Restaurants, Supermärkte, Schwimmbad und Bahnhof. Jestetten ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Ausflugsziele wie den Schwarzwald, Bodensee/Konstanz, Zürich und die Alpen. Züge nach Zürich und Schaffhausen fahren halbstündlich.

Newly built apartment in an idyllic village with about 1000 inhabitants. Located right on the Swiss border. Very close is the largest waterfall in Europe, the Rhine Falls. Ideal hiking and cycling paradise. Pure nature. Water sports in and on the Rhine (swimming, diving, paddling, etc.). Large parking right in front of the apartment. Long-term guests up to a maximum of 3 months are also welcome. A place where you just feel really comfortable!

Direkt beim Rheinfall: 3 Minuten Fahrzeit, 5 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad, 8 Minuten zu Fuss. Badestelle zu Fuss in 3 Minuten erreichbar. Vielseitige Freizeitmöglichkeiten: Wandern am Rhein und Schwimmen im Fluss. Fahrradfahren im Klettgau, Schiffahrten auf dem Rhein, Besichtigung Rheinfall und Altstadt in Schaffhausen.

Spacious, rural and close to the airport

The accommodation is located in rural Hochfelden. Zurich Airport can be reached in 15 minutes by car and Zurich City in 40 minutes. Every 30 minutes, a bus leaves that offers various connections. Zurich Airport and Zurich City can be reached in 45 minutes. To make your stay more comfortable, I offer a reliable shuttle service to Zurich Airport, Zurich City and Bülach train station for a fee. So you can arrive and depart stress-free.

Master's B&B - small but nice.

Our guests have their own apartment, but it is only rented to one party at a time. It has two double beds and a single bed. Baby cot on request. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, accessible via stairs (no elevator), but very quiet and with great views of Munot, the Rhine and Schaffhausen. The city of Schaffhausen is a 10-minute walk away. Parking for your car will be provided by us. Large roof terrace for undisturbed sunbathing.

With us you leave everyday life behind you. Relax and spend the night in our cozy Stübli with terrace, lounge and breakfast. A whirlpool and sauna are available exclusively for our guests. The costs are ONLY incurred when used per stay/night as follows: Whirlpool CHF 120.00 (2nd night CHF 60.00) Sauna CHF 100.00 (2nd night CHF 50.00) No time limit! On request, we also serve a fondue at 25.- CHF/person or cold plate

Waldhauser farm barrel

The heated Waldhauser Hof Fässle offers a unique overnight experience. The quiet retreat is designed for two people and has a cozy double bed, a seating area, storage space and a kitchen corner with a wash basin and refrigerator. Outside, a seating lounge invites you to relax. A dry separation toilet is located next to the barrel. Please note that there is no shower. Ideal for those who enjoy nature and want to relax!
