The Duck House is a quirky, characterful, cosy and extremely comfortable self-contained annex set in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside with easy access to Wallingford, Dorchester, Henley, Oxford and the Cotswolds. Bicester Village outlet centre is a short drive away. From the Duck House there is a short walk to the award winning 16th Century Thatched Pub, the Red Lion, in our village. Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

Towersey is one mile from the market town of Thame, and has an excellent village pub plus access to the Phoenix Trail cycle & footpath. The Annex has its own entrance with parking space, a double bedroom with king sized bed & tv, and sitting room with fridge, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, plus tv. There is a power shower over the bath.
