Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Bernex

We had a lovely time. It is well located, very quiet and no neighbors, a beautiful lake view. The house is nice and the kitchen is great for long stays. (we saw the comments about the smell in the bathroom but there is a small window and the VMC for ventilation, so not annoying). We recommend it and will certainly come back if it is available during our next stay.

Our stay was most enjoyable. The house offers all the amenities for a week-long stay. Thirty minutes from the train station, the walk is pleasant. We appreciated the cleanliness of the premises and the modernity of the facilities.

If I could give 10 stars I would! The Lemon Pit was amazing. The design is so cool and efficient. The hot tub was a huge hit, he even provided crocs to wear to the hot tub. Will was very responsive and provided a guidebook for the home and area right upon booking so I had time to review before arrival. He was flexible with check in and check out. The area was quiet and the view was spectacular. The walk into town is steep, but definitely manageable. We rented bikes and took advantage of the great bike lanes. A lot of fun. I have stayed in dozens of airbnbs and this one ranks at the top. Really great house.

We stayed in a spacious accommodation spread across four floors, featuring one bedroom on the ground floor and another on the second floor. The property is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from a small train station, making it relatively easy to reach—especially if you're arriving via a larger hub like Montreux. However, it's important to note that while the location is scenic and peaceful, the nearby train station is very small and there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. We arrived late and hadn't realized that basic shopping (e.g., milk, butter, kitchen roll, hand towels for the kitchen) needed to be done in advance or in a larger town. Future guests may want to plan ahead and stock up on essentials before arriving. That said, the mountain views and tranquil setting

Annie’s place was perfect for our stay near Montreux! Bigger than I expected based on the photos, so it was nice to spread out with our group of 6. My kids loved the dart board and those views from the balconies can’t be beat. Annie was so sweet and easy to communicate with. Her little touches made for the best few days!

Beautiful house, right on Lake Geneva. Swimming area within walking distance (200m). Plenty of parking. Terrace around the house with lake and mountain views. Nice and quiet. Best accommodation I've ever had.

I stayed at Matthieu’s place for three nights while visiting my kid who’s studying in Switzerland. The view was absolutely stunning, and the interior felt like something out of the Ritz Carlton. Clearly, Christelle and Matthieu put a lot of care into every detail. The Wi-Fi was also super fast, which was a big plus. Both Christelle and Matthieu were warm and welcoming. We had some great conversations during my stay. The location is just a 5–7 minute walk from the train station. Unless you're traveling with more than two people, I’d recommend skipping the rental car and going with one or two Eurail business class pass instead. Thank you again, Christelle and Matthieu! Great cozy place with snow mountain view to chill around. Location is also convenient to go shopping & exploring in town. My friends and I enjoyed staying here. Thanks for great stay

We had a very pleasant stay, in such a peaceful environment facing the mountains and with the bonus of the birds singing. Jackie and Eric were available to welcome us on arrival and for our departure. They are also very warm. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

This was our 2nd trip to Sebastiens chalet and I’m sure it won’t be our last. The chalet is furnished to a high standard, spotlessly clean and spacious. Having the choice of skiing both in Abondance (excellent ski school) and Chatel pleased the various ski abilities of the group. The kitchen was a chefs kitchen with all the equipment that you would need with a fabulous open planned dining / kitchen area which was really sociable. It is a beautifully designed place in a mountain village 20 minutes away from the city center. We were very comfortable and I recommend it to everyone.

We were 4 adults. Our host welcomed us with all his kindness and everything was planned, even coffee and shower soap. Beautiful south-facing garden. Good bedding (3x double bed) and beds made on arrival. Only downside: the partitions between rooms are quite thin and you can hear the neighbors snoring. William is a host to recommend and we will be back.

We were on a family holiday with a mixture of adults and kids and babies. Cecile’s place was great for our holiday. It is very well located, it was a 5min walk to a small group of shops that had restaurants and a beautiful patisserie, 5min walk to a supermarket, 5min walk to restaurants on the lake, 5min walk to multiple bustops and a bus top right outside but most importantly only 5min walk to the beach and is a lovely walk through a reserve. The old town is also walking distance about 30min along a beautiful lake front promenade. The house itself is spacious with a large living area in open plan and a balcony. It also has a large backyard which our kids loved playing in. The only downside for us would be that the upstairs bedrooms were rather warm while we were there but we still all slept well and it probably wasn’t appropriate for under 5 year olds with various ornaments and 3 levels of stairs. Thank you Cecile, our family will have great memories of our stay in Annecy.

Amazing place in a great location with many activities to do in the region. Charlène made sure we had everything we needed (with some complimentary goodies!). From information on what to do, how to get there (bikes were included), to a fully equipped kitchen and an amazing bathroom. Fully recommend to anyone looking for a quite getaway with fun activities and great sights.

This was a PERFECT location of our large group! Gorgeous and very well taken care of. It was so beautiful that we decided to just hang around the house on some days :) Vincent and I communicated before and during our stay as he wanted to make sure that all was going well. He was always receptive and available when we had questions. You can't go wrong with this lovely home. I will definitely come back if it is still available!!!

We loved staying in this French villa! My kids (3, 5 and 7) spent hours in the backyard while we hung out on the terrace and stared at the view! The house is gorgeous and thoughtfully designed - we felt right at home. It’s an easy drive to Annecy and surrounding area - we also did a day trip to Chamonix. The bakery down the hill also has amazing chocolate croissants. Thanks for a great stay!

Fanny. Thank you so much for renting your beautiful home to us. It was a perfect. Our 3 teenage boys loved the pool and the location was amazing with its convenience to the 20 bus. The boys could have free time to explore themselves and also time with mum and dad. 5 stars. 6 stars if I could .

The views were amazing. the couples are the best. Helped us settle in . The furniture's were top notch. I will stay here over and over again.
