Located outside a small, quiet hamlet (altitude 800 metres) at the end of a winding road, the south-facing barn enjoys panoramic views of the mountains, and is surrounded by fields and woods - with no vis-à-vis! Entirely renovated using ecological materials, the gîte retains all the charm and authenticity of a Pyrenean dwelling, but with all the comfort of a purpose-built gite. The barn caters to everybody – couples, solos, families with children, and walkers with their four-legged friends.

Beyond that, the paths wind through the pine forest and the hills among the Capitelles. You can discover them on foot, by mountain bike with or without a picnic. The cottage is located in a wine estate that you can visit. Former stable of the estate, this independent, air-conditioned cottage has a terrace with pergola and we provide you with our swimming pool (7.2 m x 3.7 m).

There are many hiking trails and many places to visit, underground river, museums, Prehistory Park, hot springs, intermittent fountain and of course the castles, caves and medieval cities.

A very beautiful charming cottage, renovated with a lot of heart and taste. The cottage is 12 minutes from St Girons and its shops located on the edge of a rural hamlet Cap d'Erp, with fabulous views of the virgin forests, valley, hills and mountains. With the Col d'Ayens 2 km walk or 3 km drive away, it's a dream starting point for hikers, trailers and mountain bikers.
