It is at about 5 km from Lucca,medieval town, birth place of the opera composer Puccini. You can hike or bike ride on the river park, go to the seaside,only 20km away. In an oasis of peace and tranquility, surrounded by unspoiled nature, we rent a small rustic mountain villa that is part of an ancient fief of the castle of Belforte (in Borgo Val di Taro), completely renovated while maintaining an ancient state of preservation. It enjoys a beautiful panoramic view of the Taro valley up to the Ligurian mountains. It is surrounded by chestnut woods and centuries-old oaks, just a 10-minute drive from Borgo Val di Taro, the main village.

The house is located in a strategic point to reach the Gulf of La Spezia with its pearls Lerici and Portovenere and the nearby Cinque Terre. It is on one level with a large outdoor space dedicated to our guests equipped with an oven and barbecue for pleasant outdoor lunches and dinners. Its interior consists of a large living room with fireplace, sofa bed and large window, a double bedroom, a large bathroom with shower, a closet and a small but well-equipped kitchen.

The house overlooks the Gulf of Tigullio where it enjoys an exceptional sea view, in the quiet of the Ligurian hills, while being a short walk from the sea. It has a garage where the elevator starts, which reaches the first floor where the kitchen, living room, dining room, terrace, and Jacuzzi are located. BBQ, hallway bathroom, and the second floor with three bedrooms and their private bathrooms, plus attic bedroom with bathroom.
