Our nice little apartment is located in a house built in the 1940s for the workers of the Fiskars ironworks. The apartment has its own lovely small sunny yard, which is fenced with a white wooden fence, over which the apple tree reaches its branches. Fiskarsin Ruukki is located 4.5 km from our apartment, which is about 5 minutes by car and about 15 minutes by bike on a beautiful bike path around the lake. The apartment has a spacious living room with beds in their own sleeping corner, a bright small kitchen with a dining table and a toilet/shower.

A compact beach cottage with space for 1-2 people, a cooking area on the terrace with a refrigerator, a countertop and hotplates. Running cold water. A wood-fired sauna where you can take a sauna and wash (outdoor shower). There is a lean-to and a campfire area on the shore. A rowboat is at your disposal. Composting dry toilet. Welcome to Villa Marinella! This wooden apartment in a 20th-century house with a mansard roof is inviting you. Fiskars' artisan shops, cafes, restaurants, and Billnäs are a short distance away. Culture, two golf courses with restaurants, Nordcenter and Ruukkigolf, and the Påminne ski resort are close by. The apartment was renovated in 2024. The apartment is suitable for two people or one person. Tammisaari and Hanko are wonderful day trip destinations a short distance away. No pets. I don't recommend it for people with reduced mobility.

The sauna building has a wood-fired sauna. Nearby is a quiet forest lake where you can go swimming. The cottage is equipped with an outdoor kitchen with a refrigerator and a gas stove, beds for 5 people (no bed linen and towels), electricity, a wood stove, a sauna, a water well (outside the cottage) and a fireplace, as well as bicycles for nearby excursions.

This is a perfect base if you want to visit the area's attractions, such as the popular tourist resort of Fiskars. (See guidebook) In the apartment there are two bedrooms, living room with sofa bed, kitchen, toilet with shower and balcony. Imagine enjoying the sausage you yourself have grilled in the fire. A cozy cottage by the lake in Karjalohja awaits you about an hour's drive from the Helsinki metropolitan area. The cottage has a living room, bedroom, sleeping alcove, hallway, dressing room and sauna (approx. 44m2). In addition, guests have access to a guest house with two separate small rooms and sleeping accommodations for up to three. At best, the cottage's facilities are used by 2-4 people during the winter months, but during the summer, even a larger group can fit. Here you can relax and enjoy your own peace.
