"Casa Elodea" is located in a wonderful position with such a special view of the lake. It is a small gem newly refurbished with his outdoor garden facing the historical castle of Villa Stupenda. Within walking distance are many attractions: the famous Orrido (natural gorge created 15 million years ago), the ferry terminal to reach Bellagio, Varenna and Menaggio in a few minutes, and "Viandante" path that runs parallel to "THAT BRANCH OF LAKE COMO" of which Manzoni writes in the Promessi Sposi.

Parcheggio privato proprio accanto all'appartamento, entrambi facilmente e comodamente raggiungibili, con mezzi pubblici o auto. La casa è infatti poco distante dal centro di Bellano (se sceglierai di muoverti a piedi preparati ad una passeggiata in salita, con un dislivello di 70 m, sul sentiero) , dalla pensilina dell’autobus e dall’imbocco della SS36.

Relax in this quiet accommodation. Complete with all comforts. Very close to the train station in a small rural building, leaning against the mountain. Rustic, warm and cozy atmosphere, tastefully furnished. The rooms are connected to each other and there is no parking space. The station is very close and therefore you can hear trains and listings, from 6 in the morning to 10:45 pm (not at night, because there are no trains). Shops, bars, supermarkets (2) and services are nearby.

Davide was an excellent host, very proactive in communicating and friendly. The place was very clean and comfortable making it easy to settle in. The location is great, very close to all the transport links such as train, boats and buses. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting lake como.

Lovely view, friendly host and cozy apartment. Nice outdoor patio. About 8-10 mins walk from the train station and town center. Other things to note- the two bedrooms are upstairs and you have to go up some steep spiral stairs and if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. Overall, a good stay and I recommend.

The place was clean and quiet. It has beautiful views high above the lake. Make sure to enter the location of the parking lot into Google maps and not the actual address of the apartment because it may take you to the wrong place

We stayed there with a toddler and dog. The check-in was super easy. The host was not on site herself, but easily accessible by phone. The apartment is nicely spacious and we had enough space. The garden was great for our dog, and you had sun almost all day. The view is amazing and the area is very quiet. 13 minutes away is Varenna, from which you can take the ferry in all directions. Downstairs in the village there are also plenty of restaurants, we were super happy! We would book it again.

I had a lovely 5 night stay with my husband and daughter. The accommodations are spacious and the back patio was my favorite spot to relax. My daughter loved the pool. The location is fantastic as it’s close to the train station and a short walk to the promenade, ferry, and restaurants. I will definitely make a return trip!
