Holiday rentals with lake access in Birmingham

The house feels even bigger than it looks in the photos- plenty of room! Super easy from the NEC, only a 10 min drive. James was incredibly helpful and responsive and had even stocked the fridge with food and drinks for us which was such a lovely touch! We would definitely stay here again, in fact we hope to. A perfect place for an idyllic quiet weekend away with friends.

Perfect home away from home. Debbie’s home was ideal for us whilst we were having renovations. As with all renovations, there were delays which meant we extended our stay which was quickly accommodated by Debbie. The location is quiet and with the park less than 2 mins from the house was perfect. The home itself had everything you could need for a long term stay with fully equipped kitchen complete with washing machine and dryer. The outdoor garden was perfect for catching some sun during WFH days. Communication with Debbie was great as she was was always responsive and helpful. Very glad we had a cosy homely 2 months here whilst away from our home.

Great place to stay. Nicole responded quickly to messages and was very helpful. Great location to use as a base for exploring and visiting different attractions. Really quiet location with great parking. Had a fantastic time.

Great host and very professional. Never needed to call for anything but I have nothing but praise. Unfortunately a bit of damage that we caused on the wall and the repair price was very reasonable. Will definitely use again

really lovelly place to stay for few days. ma and my parents loved it. it has everything thay you need, brushes and toothpaste was provided with small shampoo and conditioner bottles. only thing, it could have been hoovered a bit more and because no hoover was present in the house we couldn't do it ourselves too. the gas stove was working appart from the big stove. the blinds could be improved because they don't really give enough privacy. but over all 8.5/10. thanks

Great stay! Clean apartment with good amounts of space for a small family. Decorated well! Not far from Coventry centre, Coombs national park - everything within 15 mins drive. Easy to get in to with clear instructions. Great Airbnb! Recommend A+++

The house is cozy, spotless, and has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was fantastic — very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. Lovely stay in a great location. Jo & Martin were great hosts. Very accommodating and flexible. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I would say, is for the money charged for the Airbnb, a few upgrades would make the stay even more better, such as a new modern TV (TV was old and small), a new modern washing machine (again very old), wardrobes needed hangers, a bathroom bin and a bath mat.

This is my second time staying at Funke's place within a year. It definitely makes me feel at home. I love that there is driveway parking, the neighborhood is very quiet. It was very cold in England when I visited in January so the heat was working properly and I was very cozy. As long as this property stays available I will be staying here every year when I visit the UK.

Lovely host and good value basic accommodation

Very good flat in excellent central location

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage! It was beautifully maintained, clean and had lovely plants and flowers in the outside area with a well equipped kitchen. The interior was cozy and thoughtfully decorated, and we especially enjoyed the outdoor seating area for our evening meal and breakfast. Whilst there was some noise from the nearby road, it did not take away from our enjoyment of the place. It is located a few minutes from the Coombe Abbey Country park and Kristi our host was helpful and welcoming. We’d definitely be happy to stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside Cottage at the weekend — myself, a friend, and our dogs. Nadine was a fabulous host, warm and welcoming. The place was absolutely beautiful — the photos really don’t do it justice! The accommodation was spotless, super comfy, and a perfect little escape to recharge for a few quiet days. We loved being surrounded by the onsite animals, and the location was ideal with a great dog walking spot right from the doorstep. Thank you so much, Nadine!

As soon as you shut the front door, you just feel at home and calm. The house has everything you could ask for and more. Sitting at the kitchen table, with the sun coming through the garden was my Happy place. I could quite happily live here.

Absolutely stunning location, lavender cottage had everything we needed.. originally booked for 2 nights, extended to 3 because it was an ideal escape from the hustle and bustle of life. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone thinking of booking

First AirBnB experience; needed due to building work at my own house which is only a mile or so away, so we weren’t there as a holiday or a break but The Barn suited us well as a temporary home base. The property was immaculately clean/presented and we were very comfortable there. Although Mick and Linda are right next door, The Barn is entirely private and they are helpful and friendly but never intrusive. We had to extend our stay due to renovations overrunning and Linda was happy to help with the process of extending the booking. Leo, our large German Shepherd isn’t the most sociable of dogs so we didn’t go on the bridle paths etc but he was perfectly happy to go on his other walks about the place and it was very convenient for just popping him out in lead, just like we do at home. So he also gave a “paws up” for his stay. Highly recommend The Barn for a stay and Linda as a host.
