Very cozy house in a small nice village! Easy to get to and from Ljubljana and other places by train (the train was 2 minutes away on foot). The hosts were very nice and the accommodation was fresh and nice. Recommends to 100% 🔝

The wellness retreat was a real getaway in Slovenia! The place was spotless and surrounded by beautiful nature. The little town had a supermarket with everything you need. The house was beautiful and had a lot of facilities. We made good use of the big and well-equipped kitchen, indoors and outdoors. A BBQ and outdoor stone oven to make real summer meals! The saunas were a real addition to our holiday. Igor always replied really fast to our questions and text and was a very welcoming person.

Wow wow wow! What an incredible stay with incredibly helpful, kind, friendly hosts. This was such a lovely “destination” stay, a way to experience rural Slovenian living and culture. It’s a bit of a drive from the city, but well worth it for the stay and experience. Thank you and hvala!

It’s a magical place and we felt right at home. Sven was there to receive us and showed us around the property. The view is amazing and peaceful. Couldn’t find a better place to relax and enjoy the nature at its finest. We were even allowed to have the fresh strawberries and the herbs directly from the garden. What a privilege to be able to experience such a comfortable stay. All in all a great gateway experience. Five days were too less to spend in such an amazingly beautiful and peaceful place. We would definitely be going there again 😃

Our stay at the End of the Road was the perfect introduction to Slovenia. The house itself is very peaceful, surrounded by forest and wildflowers. It feels remote but easy enough to reach many walks and attractions nearby. We could drive to hikes further away but on more relaxed days we could explore Vošče or walk into Radovljica. Mateja and Miha were very generous, spending time giving us recommendations for hikes and sightseeing. Local maps and guides were in the house on arrival. Mateja provided yoga mats, a really thoughtful touch, it was so relaxing doing yoga in the loft with a view of the trees. We also loved their little dog Leni and the turtles! The house was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Mateja was always responsive to any questions and gave us lots of suggestions to make our stay even better. Highly recommend the End of the Road for anyone else visiting Slovenia and Triglav National Park.

We had a great week! The location is unique, the view and seclusion a dream. We already know that we will definitely come back.

Metka has been a wonderful and kind host in greeting us, making recommendations on places to go and great walks around, anticipating our demands. She has always been responsive in our communications, before and during our stay. The house is very well equipped because it has been lived in by generations, with a soul. Super clean. The location is perfect if one looks for quietness, close enough to the beauties of the lakes but without the crowds and the traffic. It is in a living village with active farming around but no shops or cafés within walking distance. The views on the mountains are stunning (get up early to catch the sunrise !). We can see the road but it is ok. Having a car is a must but 3 bicycles in very good condition are available. We were 4 adults and the house felt very comfortable and at ease. It only has one shower room downstairs (but 1 toilet on each floor) but we managed. My wife enjoyed the piano too ! Lovely time, fond memories. Viva Slovenia !

The accommodation was simply great – very clean, tastefully furnished and wonderfully quiet. Perfect for relaxing! Nevertheless, you can reach the lake or the city in about 10 minutes (by car). The friendly and helpful landlords, who make you feel welcome immediately, are particularly noteworthy. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

The place was wonderful, nestled in the mountains with a beautiful garden and a motorized lawnmower. The apartment had every kitchen utensil imaginable (from dishwasher tablets to citrus juicers). It is a strategic location for those coming from Italy for the major Slovenian excursions. The host was very kind and very helpful, always ready to answer us.

This is the best place I've stayed at - ever. The apartment is beautiful, clean, with a big sauna. And the best part is that we were able to visit with our dog.

This place was a dream. The view was gorgeous and so peaceful. The place was super cozy and so clean and beautiful. It had everything one could need including fluffy bathrobes! The hot tub was our favorite part. Easy to use and so relaxing. There were other people staying in the other apartment but we still felt like it was very private. Honestly felt like the East side apartment is the best one because of the views. If possible we would totally come here again.

My dog and I stayed in Abyss Adventures ans Apartments for two days and we had a lovely time in this charming place. The view from the terrace of our apartment was absolutely stunning with an overlook of the Julian Alps. Petra was such a friendly hostess too and she gave me some nice directions for amazing hiking trails in the area. I highly recommend this gem of an airbnb and would love to return again.

We only stayed one night, but it was the perfect way to say goodbye to Slovenia. The hosts are incredibly kind and attentive, and the outdoor space is truly amazing. We had a lovely late afternoon by the pool, playing ball with our son, such a special moment. The house stayed pleasantly cool, which was perfect for the hot day we had. We were two with our dog for a week at Frank and Heike. Everything tip top. Area very quiet yet great location for many excursions. Also supermarket quickly accessible. The apartment is very well equipped and really lacked nothing. Cooking is also fun 🤩 we can absolutely recommend the apartment.

Angelika is a wonderful hostess. We were greeted romantically on our arrival at a late hour with a portable lantern and personally guided to the accommodation. Angelika welcomed us super friendly, presented a welcome drink and attentively but not intrusively explained everything so that we could find our way around well. In the garden is a beautifully designed chillout area - always ready for the guests and a very well-kept pool. The interiors were also very clean. And there was a tip overview, what you can do in the area, even small gifts at the kitchen table for us. only a small thing that bothered us personally was the church diagonally opposite - the bells ring really often. but that's a matter of taste and only refers to the surroundings. apart from that: warmest recommendation: beautiful, really large accommodation with lovely full-blooded hosts.

a little slice of heaven in the heart of a forest. Change of scenery. Simple and charming. Everything is thought out. We liked the spirit of this rental. We recommend it! Natalija was responsive and attentive.

Absolutely magic place. Silence and peace. Very beautiful around, you can walk for hours. The forest near the house is full of mushrooms. Paradise for those who want to escape from civilization. Wonderful friendly hosts, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived after midnight after a very long road and Ivanka and her husband waited for us and took us to the house. The house is fairytale, with a wood-burning stove for those who still remember what it is. At the same time, there are all the modern amenities of civilization, Internet, a good shower, a well-equipped kitchen with an induction stove. Ivanka left us a very tasty homemade pie and grapes from her own garden. A week spent in this house was a wonderful vacation for the whole family. Note: this house is not for you if you have problems with steep stairs - two bedrooms are on the second floor, which is reached by a steep stairs. And it is not for you if you are afraid of gravel roads uphill.

The hosts were very responsive and friendly. The cottage is reached via a nice walkway from the steps. Although the luggage would sweat themselves with no problem, the hosts pulled it up to the cabin with a stroller. They are very flexible, nothing intrusive and very friendly! We felt at home and enjoyed the unspoiled nature.

This place is truly the gem of Slovenia. I don't know which I could praise more, the home or the host. The house and surrounding area has everything you could possibly want and Žan, the host, really did a great job with providing guides and giving tips. The nature is exquisite, the air incredibly clean, the water clear and delicious - you feel healthier the moment you step foot here. There was obviously so much thought put into kitting out this home and Žan was an incredibly caring host that was in constant communication with us, ready to help and get us out of binds. Truly a great person to have when in a new country or region. We all loved every moment we spent here. As other guests mentioned the roads up to the house are not for the faint of heart, so please be careful. The beds were also hard on our backs so something to consider for guests with backpain, but with everything being cared for and regularly updated I'm sure the beds will also get an upgrade soon. Truly a 10/10!

Staying in the Velika Planina was a truly unique experience. This cottage was modern, comfortable and equipped with the basics needed to make a stay enjoyable. Rok is an excellent host and is personally invested in helping his guests have a great experience. While we were there before the cattle were moved to these pastures, it was still bucolic, stunning and offered great outdoor activities. We are happy we had this memorable experience.
