The "Hühnerhaus"

The hen house is located in the middle of the beautiful Permagarten, below a former monastery, on the Katzenhof in Bachhaupten. Gabi and Guido live their dream of independence here and want to expand the farm sustainably and suitable for grandchildren. For example, the walls and ceiling of the hen house were made from the over 200-year-old plank boards of the main house. Room to dream

The cozy apartment consists of a large room on the ground floor, with an adjoining bathroom and an upper floor with two bedrooms. It is located in the lovingly renovated former stable building of our farmhouse. This is located in a rural but local part of Tettnang, about 8 km from Lake Constance. The apartment combines the charm of former rural use with modern furnishings. The fireplace offers a special ambience, especially in the cold season.

Quiet apartment for relaxation

The granny apartment is in a very quiet location without through traffic at the edge of the forest. The surroundings invite you to take long walks, bike tours or hikes. The apartment has about 40 square meters of living space and has a separate entrance, as well as a terrace overlooking the pond. Überlingen on Lake Constance is in approx. 15 minutes by car. The nearest swimming lake Illmensee or Pfullendorf is also in approx. 20 minutes.

Historic farmhouse in a quiet location

The apartment has been newly built in an old farmhouse (anno 1833). During construction, care was taken to use as many natural building materials as possible (wood, clay, hemp). The partitions were designed as half-timbered walls. The living room forms a room with the kitchen. The apartment is about 60 m² and is barrier-free.
