Monthly Rentals in Bonnievale

Right, this place is perfect! It has everything you need and want for a weekend away - firewood, firelighters, a fully stocked kitchen (only missing a French press or cafetière), blankets, indoor fireplace, beautiful view of the mountains, comfy beds, linen… the list goes on! Erik and Adel were so relaxed, let us check out late as no one was checking in! As we were visiting from abroad, it really made a rustic stay feel exceptionally homely and easy. Highly recommended and can’t wait to come back and explore more of the area.

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

Else and her husband are AMAZING host! Kind, helpful and makes beautiful art. Very sweet cuddly dog. The room is perfect, you’ll wake up in nature and very quiet except for some birds which makes it just lovely! We got fresh pecan nuts and we Highly recommend! We had a late check-in and she was flexible with this. Slept very well. Thank you!

We had a great stay in Montagu. Kotie was very helpful and pointed out a few activities and restaurants that we could do and go to. the cottage was clean and well equipped.
