Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Bordeaux-Lac

We had a fantastic stay at Maël's place. It is the perfect place to switch off and relax. We travelled with our two small children who enjoyed the pool and games rooms. Maël has thought of every detail to make it an enjoyable stay for a family and was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

What a great place - peaceful, spacious and private with everything you could ever need to make the time you spend at your home fun and relaxing. It did feel like a home from home. Olivier was helpful and responsive even months before the holiday and always replied within an hour. We had to drive all the way from Calais so explained that we’d be checking in late, he was very understanding even when this time got later and later, eventually arriving after 11pm Olivier still greeted us with a smile and a full tour of all of the facilities and living area, and remained helpful throughout. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend L’Atelier to anybody, and would come back in a heartbeat. Merci Olivier!

Staying at Sophie & Bruno’s place was like staying with friends. The location was perfect for us, outside the city but easy access to the tram to get into Bordeaux or by car to the surrounding area. Three great double bedrooms with ensuite rooms, all air conditioned. We had a terrace to sit outside and eat breakfast. Sophie has an amazing address book for restaurants and we ate out very well each night (La Table de Decanteur (local resto with amazing wine), Zephirine, Ressources (both amazing restaurants, easy to reach by tram) and La Cor(o)niche by the Bassin d’Arcachon). There are plenty of local shops in Le Bouscat easily accessible on foot. We will definitely stay with Sophie again if we’re in Bordeaux, it’s nice to be out of the heat of the city. Sophie & Bruno are very welcoming and make you feel very much at home, nothing is too much trouble. I think my favourite Airbnb to date.

Fabrice was responsive and totally accommodating in terms of arrival! we were just passing through but we really enjoyed the place! nothing to repeat! the beds were even prepared and the coffee available! what could be better we recommend it without so much as a second thought

We spent a weekend with friends at Véronique's. It is a peaceful house, decorated with great taste, you feel good there, it was a place conducive to sharing and reunions between friends. Véronique answered our questions and had perfectly prepared the arrival in the accommodation. I recommend this accommodation :)

The accommodation was very comfortable, very clean, it was as described. The welcome is very warm, everything is done to ensure that we have an excellent stay. We even left with a tricycle for our little girl, which the hosts no longer needed. Really, very friendly. We strongly recommend!

This lovely cottage has been in this family since 1896. It was lovingly restored to keep the old wine-country feel but add every modern amenity. It is extremely clean, well provisioned, and very comfortable. It is also very secure, not isolated, and very quiet. A few kms up the road is our favorite village in all of France, Saint-Emilion, with literally dozens of name vineyards/wineries closeby. Pomerol is next door as well. One of the very best rentals ever - and we have done dozens. We will be back. We love this cottage.

Louis-Antoine was a welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable host who gave us a thorough and thoughtful introduction to both the apartment and the city. His recommendations for things to do and places to eat and explore in Bordeaux were spot-on and much appreciated. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location—just steps from the beautiful Jardin Public, where we enjoyed several relaxing walks. It was clean, quiet, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly felt at home. We would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone visiting Bordeaux.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and welcoming. The bed was large and comfortable with crisp but soft sheets. There was fresh water, condiments and all you needed to settle in for a short or long stay. I loved the location looking at the grand church across the road. The tram was only a few metres away. Lots of food shops, bars and cafes. In short, it was perfect for my one week stay. Thank you.

Very easy to access, parking on site is a real plus. The studio is very well appointed and functional. I will definitely come back for a future stay in Bordeaux.

Fantastic stay in Jacques' very centrally located apartment. The apartment was very comfortable with excellent air-conditioning which was very useful as it was very hot when I was in Bordeaux. Apartment was well equipped and within easy access to cafes, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and to the tram. I can highly recommend.

Our stay in Olivier’s apartment was fabulous. The apartment is beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well équipped , exactly as in the photos and well positioned for exploring Bordeaux. Olivier is a wonderful host. We thoroughly recommend staying in his apartment if you are ever in Bordeaux.

Fanny is a lovely, attentive and very precise host. She has always been responsive both in providing information and in asking if everything was okay. Her house is small but well distributed: entrance with kitchen, living room with sofa bed, double bedroom and bathroom. It's a shame that the street is very dark at night. Otherwise, everything was fantastic!

Samia's apartment is nice, it's in a very quiet area, the tram is 2 minutes from her house, Carrefour supermarket is across the tram, thank you Samia

Great stay in this well located apartment. There is some street noise but no loud music and it’s just happy chatter. Very convenient for all amenities. Great balcony and opposite a fantastic mini- market and deli

On the AirBnB route, it sometimes happens that we meet people like Phil, always close but not imposing. Flexible and attentive. For the rest, everything is less than 2 minutes' walk. The apartment is perfect. Thank you Phil and looking forward to seeing you again in Canada in the snow
