Monthly Rentals in Box

Lucia's cosy cottage was perfect for our weekend stay. There were 3 of us - me, my husband & 17yr old daughter, plenty of room for all and the bedroom configuration was no problem at all. We all loved Lucia's cottage, full of interesting and beautiful things - our daughter said it was her 'perfect home'. The garden was a gorgeous tranquil place to relax with a glass of wine after a day's sightseeing and we sat out one morning for breakfast. We initially booked the cottage as a base for a uni open day visit and decided to make a weekend of it, glad we did - such a beautiful area and we always love our visits to Bath. We can also recommend the Bengal Bear for a tasty takeaway!

the only problem we had is that we cant give this place more than 5 stars, it truly deserves 10 stars, this unit is the oldest Airbnb I know, clearly it has had work through the years, back in the year 1060 when Willian the Conqueror demanded everyone to list all their possessions, cows, pigs, chickens especially land and what is build on it, the house was already there, just for that it is a WOW. location is also amazing, it is walking distance to Box a gorgeous little town with restaurants, a pub and lots to look at, Bath is 15 mins driving and to other local towns, the drives are beautiful, now about the unit, cute, charming, quite, and extremely relaxing, about Pene the host, she was there at the main home with her family, she made us feel extremely comfortable and welcome and her garden describes the energy at her home, a piece of heaven in the hills of England.

Had a great stay here in mid-August 2024! Lindsay was really accommodating throughout our stay. The flat was exactly as pictured online - such a lovely stay and a hidden gem! We arrived to the fridge stocked with some milk, eggs, bread, and butter which was a nice welcome. The surrounding town, Box, was quaint - there’s a pharmacy and corner shop just down the road. Lots of lovely walks in / around town and within a 30-45 min drive. There was also lots of open space for our dog to run around off-leash within a 5 min walk of the property. Their dog Betty was also lovely! Would definitely come back again, thanks for having us!

Beautiful location with views and lovely garden with wild flowers, accomodation spacious, super clean and has everything you need, with thoughtful extras like fresh flowers, local honey, charming hosts, there's nothing they haven't thought of. Friendly dogs too!
