The property is located next to Scenic Point on Highway 7 in Jasper. The gift shop is adjacent to our property. You cannot ask for a better location for your trip to the Ozarks. You’re not far off the Highway, but you feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere due to the tranquility of the space. This is a perfect spot to call "home base" during your hiking trip to Jasper or float trip on the Buffalo National River. Also, a side note; the inside fireplace is not usable but the outside firepit is.

Our secluded cabin sits on a mountainside between Ponca and Jasper, near the Buffalo River. The cabin has 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs each with queen bed, one downstairs w queen bed & twin bunkbed, 2 twins in entry, 1 futon upstairs), two remodeled bathrooms, central AC/heat, WIFI, Roku TV, small deck with charcoal grill, large dining room table & lots of windows. 2 miles from Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, 2 miles from Steel Creek, 4 miles from Ponca, 5 miles from Kyle's Landing, 9 miles from Jasper.

Steve's Place is a one of a kind rustic cabin sitting on 33 acres just 10 minutes from the Buffalo National River at Ponca and 3 Miles from the Compton Trailhead. The cabin provides all the amenities of home with seclusion and views of these beautiful Ozark Mountains. This Cabin has one bedroom and a loft with with queen size beds. Very quiet, private 1 bedroom cabin with seasonal views of the Little Buffalo River. Fully equipped kitchen. Access to beach and seasonal swimming hole. A perfect romantic get away. There is also a sleeping area separate from the house available for an additional cost if you want to bring an extra guest or two. Close to many access points on the upper section of the Buffalo River for fishing, floating, hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing nearby.
