Cabin holiday rentals in Boxley

This cabin was in the perfect location for all of the best hiking and kayaking in the area. It's very remote, but lots of food options 30 min away. The cabin itself was adorable and cozy, it was very clean and well kept. The basement was perfect for sleeping. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the Knotty Pine cabin. It was by far one of the best Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at. Everything was spotless and the amenities were outstanding. So many extras- from the coffee bar, to the s’mores kit & snack basket, the host went above and beyond to make this the perfect cozy cabin with everything you need! Our favorite was the outdoor space. It rained several times during our stay, but we were still able to enjoy the fireplace & hot tub out on the covered deck. It was so relaxing after a day of kayaking and hiking. Jasper is a cute little town with several places to eat and a grocery store if you decide to cook at the cabin. We visited the Ozark Cafe, the local pizza joint, and Low Gap Cafe. All were good. We also grilled steaks out on the Traeger our last night there. It was perfect! We’re already looking forward to planning our next visit!

Lindsey and Heidi’s cabin was such a charming gem of a place. It was clean, cozy, peaceful, and very private! A perfect couples retreat. Her kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook full meals. My favorite detail were the white waffle knit robes. I brought clothes to wear but probably didn’t need to because I pretty much lived in the robes my entire stay!! The hosts were so responsive to my questions and even suggested some local activities that were happening the weekend we were there, which was great! I highly recommend their cabin if you are looking for a place near the Buffalo River!

This location was the perfect spot for our girls getaway. Between the privacy, fire pit, and hot tub we had our own piece of heaven. The views in this area are breathtaking. Plenty of room and amenities!

The sunrise is supreme. The cabin details were well thought out and they had almost anything you could want. The kitchen is well stocked with extras like oil, coffee, filters, sandwich bags, and plastic cutlery. Sharp knives, Ninja coffee maker, laundry supplies, a lighter for the stove/grill/fire pit, and more. The AC worked well. The storms caused a tree to fall over the driveway and flooded out the hot tub. They were quick to answer and address the issues we had related to the storm. The turn-off is a bit unexpected, so read the access instructions carefully before you get there. It was easy to find with the instructions provided. The location was perfectly central to everything we wanted to do: Buffalo River, MTB at Ponca/Upper Buffalo, waterfalls south of Jasper, hiking and fishing, and Horseshoe Canyon Ranch (definitely look into the Via Ferrata!!!) We will absolutely stay here again.

I absolutely loved staying at this cabin! It was just two of us and our dogs but the host was very responsive and everything was as advertised. As far as the cabin amenities, it has all the basics you would need. But the property itself the real star! It is just incredible. Very private and serene. Front porch sittin that is hard to beat! Bring your binoculars!

We loved it. We came to the area for hiking and canoeing, and while we didn't get to do a LOT of that because of the weather and rain, we still had a fantastic time because we were able to get away, play games, and just relax. We were really impressed with the cabin. The big front porch was great for watching the rain and drinking coffee. The hot tub was great for relaxation. He had everything we needed, and was super friendly and helpful - thank you Davis! The driveway to get to the house may not be for every person or vehicle, but we did not mind. It was totally doable with 4x4, and Davis has spent a lot of time, money, and effort improving it (and is still working on it even over the weekend we were there) - raging flood waters don't take it easy on anyone. Thanks again Davis, for a fantastic place to get away from everything!

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and enjoyed everything! The view was great and the cabin provided everything we needed. The bed and couch were so comfy! The local town had cute shops and a few great places to eat. So many trails to hike as well. John was very quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend this place to anyone needing peace, solitude, privacy, and relaxation!!

Beautiful, getaway cabin located next to the Ozarks, and nearby rivers and waterfalls. Would highly recommend and would love to go back for future trips. Dog-friendly property which makes it super to travel with our furry-babies. Thank you to Audra and Brad for being such responsive and friendly hosts!

Heather Hill was a great and quiet place to wrap up our paddling trip on the Buffalo River! Clint’s place is just a couple of minutes from the Pruitt River access. We really enjoyed relaxing on the front porch and taking in the tranquility after a great float!

Great place to stay to float the Buffalo River! The driveway is a bit steep, but easy to navigate as long as you take it slow. Beds are super comfortable and was the perfect getaway for my family and friends. We will definitely be back!

Loved the cabin and it felt like home! Couldn’t be happier with the privacy and the creek was amazing for swimming. 5 stars all the way. Mark was quick to respond with any questions we had. A little Ozark Oasis.

Misty Bluff Cabin is 1800 sf house on 2 levels. It is situated right off of Hwy 7, on side of hill, overlooking spectacular views of mountains, canyon, sunrises and sunsets. Cabin is quiet, peaceful, clean, recently renovated interior with rustic modern decor, well-appointed with everything you need for comfort, cooking if you desire, and relaxing. It is close to hiking. canoeing, rafting for outdoor enthusiasts. 2 Bedrooms and 1 large bath with jetted tub and shower on main street level. Living & dining and 1 full bath with shower on lower level with large patio. Highly recommend for a quiet, relaxing getaway. About 1 hour 20 minute drive to Branson for shows etc if interested. Karla is a wonderful host and very gracious and responsive. The Stones

We enjoyed our stay! Our host were friendly and responsive.Beautiful, peaceful, accommodating place for family. We really appreciated it being pet friendly. It was clean. Would book again! Our only con was the beds they could use an upgrade for comfort.

The owner was very communicative and helpful. He was responsive to our questions about the area and gave us great advice. Our stay, which included two families (total of 10 individuals) stayed very comfortably in this space. We enjoyed being able to cook out and do a campfire/smores with the kids. Firewood was available with a fire pit, which was convenient. The kids loved playing games in the game room when they needed something to do. The porch had a picture perfect view of the mountains, and we loved being able to lounge, have coffee, and chat. Our trip to Falling Water Falls was a huge hit with everyone. We swam there most of the day and explored the area. Anyone traveling in this area should be aware of ticks and how to prepare/manage while exploring the area. Overall, we would love to return.

Wow - this cabin was everything we hoped for and more! Inside it was warm, spotless, and beautifully decorated - a perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. The cabin had every amenity we could need - a well-equipped kitchen, plush bedding, and even a welcome snack of fresh baked bread we removed from the bread maker upon arriving. Our host was outstanding: responsive, kind, and clearly passionate about creating a great experience. They provided detailed check-in instructions and excellent local recommendations. This cabin was the ideal place to unplug, relax, and recharge. We can't wait to come back.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It is very secluded and the view is phenomenal. We hiked one day and went on a jeep ride the other, and I wish we had one more day to just stay put and play board games and enjoy the views. Very clean, and the host was very helpful. We will definitely be back in the fall! 10/10 recommend! 🤌🏼 everything you need and more is provided except for a microwave, but we just used the stove. No biggie. Thanks for your hospitality!

We delighted in our three-night stay. Clean, cozy and comfortable. Great indoor and outdoor showers! Neat lighting. Dry firewood. Perfect fire pit. All the right kitchen tools for cabin cooking. It’s a quality Ozark getaway. If you live in a hectic metro area and sorely in need of a true and complete escape - this is it. The log cabin will deliver the decompression you desire.

Really loved this cabin! Great view. The wood ceiling, the double sided fire place, the porch….ALL were great. The only down side for us was the drive way. We were on motorcycles & the drive is loose thick gravel & steep. I wouldn’t let it deter anyone from renting this gem….just beware & be prepared.

By far the most well appointed Airbnb we’ve every stayed in anywhere in the world. Whitney & Tom truly thought of everything! From Dyson blow dryers to the Nespresso maker to every kitchen utensil, spice, glassware, serving dishes, and multiple large cutting boards. Truly just show up and begin your vacation. Everything including the hot tub were impeccably clean. Will look forward to staying here again!

We had the pleasure of meeting Chay after I fumbled our checkout date! He arrived while we were packing up. I tried to extend our stay one day, but Chay had others guests arriving that evening. He was the most helpful in our situation. He looked up alternate accommodations and even offered us his personal cabin if checking out earlier than expected was going to put us in a bind. Chay was exceptional host. He provided us information, books, maps, and offered suggestions before we even asked. He kept us informed of local water levels and things you may not even think of.
