Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Nertila’s place, or should I call it the subtle Barbie dream house. 💕 She was extremely welcoming, helped with plenty of options/suggestions on how to get there from Rome way before our trip so that I could plan ahead accordingly. The place is literally across the street from the Bus stop and Ferry stop so you can visit all the hyped up lake Como places without the hyked up Como prices! It’s win-win. The restaurants, Gelato and Coffee in the Piazza were all amazing! Lastly Nertila was super responsive and available if we needed her for anything during our stay. 💛 We will be back for sure!!

"I think this is the best Airbnb you've ever booked for us" were the words of my husband after arriving at Mattia's place! Everything was perfect, and there was nothing that Mattia hasn't thought of - from providing a gorgeous spread of food upon arrival (cake, fruit, pasta, meats, eggs etc), to having a filtered drinking water tap within the property. Mattia and his dad were both super friendly, and Mattia provided us with all of the information we needed to have a great stay. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Emi was a gracious and attentive host and truly one of the best we’ve had. She went above and beyond by picking us up when the bus didn’t stop where expected, and personally drove us to the property. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome. The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and even more stunning than the photos suggest. It’s the perfect escape from the stress of city life. There is one restaurant and a small neighborhood market within walking distance. For guests without a car, this may be a consideration depending on your needs. A word of caution: the interior stairs can be slippery, especially when wearing socks. I unfortunately took a fall during our stay and was injured. I recommend using footwear with grip, such as water shoes, when indoors to help prevent accidents. Despite this, we had a wonderful stay, and Emi remains a 10/10 host.

un appartement trés sympa auquel on accéde via un labyrinthe de petites ruelles piétonnes. Garer la voiture est le plus difficile. L'appartement est trés cosy et moderne. L'endroit, au bord même du lac de Côme est magique, avec une vue magnifique deouis la terrasse. Il y a un petit ponton public à proximité immédiate de l'appartement et on peut se baigner trés facilement. Nous recommandons chaudement ce logement assez unique.

This apartment is so big, you feel like you’re in a pent house suite. We loved this place. We were able to cook some meals in the kitchen, the deck is beautiful. We were nervous about the drive and parking. Parking was fine, no issues. Yes it is a tight squeeze - but it’s Italy, driving in general is a tight squeeze. It’s easier than other reviews have made out to be. The accomodation is further up the hill and back from the town. The drive takes about 13 minutes. Not a scary drive, just a slow one with so many turns. We loved the location as it was already so busy in town that we felt like we got to escape the crowds. You would want a car here for sure. You can’t walk down to the town. And parking and driving around was easy, not as busy as you think it would be because everyone is taking ferry’s not driving. So we were able to drive down and park and go for dinner or breakfast easily. Highly recommend this place.

The place itself is very comfortable and had everything you need. The view of lake Como is stunning and location was great. Easy walk to shops, bus and ferry station. Denis is very proactive and helped us with finding another accommodation due a mix up of dates on our behalf. Would highly recommend to stay at this lovely apartment.

Giovanni war ein toller Gastgeber. Er hat uns bei allen Fragen weitergeholfen und ist jederzeit erreichbar gewesen. Die Unterkunft ist wirklich ein Traum und man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht und es war wirklich in jeder Ecke perfekt sauber. Giovanni hat sogar Kaffee und grundlegende Küchenlebensmittel wie Öl, Pfeffer und Salz bereitgestellt. Ein Highlight ist der Balkon und die Aussicht auf den See. Wir können die Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen und Giovanni ist ein echter Herzensmensch.

We really enjoyed our stay in Elisa’s place and at Lake Como! The place was very clean, cozy, super well equipped and had a great view. Elisa was also a great host, gave clear instructions and was always communicative.

Квартира превзошла ожидания. Этого не видно на фотографиях, но балкон довольно большой - одновременно помещается и стол со стульями и шезлонг и ещё остаётся место. С балкона отличный вид на горы и озеро. Утром можно наблюдать восход солнца, А вечером отдохнуть тени. В квартире есть все необходимое. Матрас жёсткий, что тоже плюс Рядом остановка автобуса и парома, а также магазин и кафешки. Хозяйка замечательная и большая молодец. Отвечает быстро и старается помочь, очень ей благодарны. В самом городке работает фуникулер в Пигру (по состоянию на 22.06.2025) так что можно посмотреть на озеро с высоты. Жители Ардженьо гостепреимны и тоже готовы прийти на помощь. Проблема с посадкой на паром и покупкой билетов на него в Ардженьо нет, в отличии от Комо и Беладжио. Единственное - в воскресенье могут быть проблемы с общественным транспортом и такси. Так что это нужно учитывать при планировании отъезда.

The “Hydrangea Villa” at the very top of Villa Monti was a dream to stay in. The views were outstanding and all the windows open to hear the birds singing and allow cool breezes to flow thru (there is an excellent A/C system in this upper space as well). The downstairs bedroom & bath was just as clean, but not as cool as the “tower”. Communication pre-arrival was prompt and the onsite manager “MG” is friendly, attentive, knows Varenna well and gave us great suggestions for dinners & hikes ( do not miss hiking to the cemetery, waterfall and castle)! He carried our ( heavy!) bags up the 99 steps to our room- thank you MG!! The pool, although small was very refreshing and the area around it so pleasant to sit and gaze over Lake Como while drinking wine. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend Villa Monti to anyone traveling to beautiful Varenna.

Beautiful place and stunning view! Very private and the pool and surroundings were such an added bonus. The one thing we wish we did was rent a car because only a few restaurants are nearby and you have to walk on the main highway. But it was a wonderful stay and Vicky was great at communication!

Vanessa.... deine tadellosen Informationen und deine wertvollen Ratschläge haben unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht und uns ermöglicht, das Beste von Argegno und seiner Umgebung zu entdecken. Emma.... dein herzlicher und persönlicher Empfang ließ uns sofort wie zu Hause fühlen. Deine Gastfreundschaft war außergewöhnlich! Die Stadt Argegno hat uns mit ihren freundlichen und gastfreundlichen Bewohnern und ihren köstlichen Restaurants und Bars verzaubert. Die Villa Emma ist ein wahres Schmuckstück: wir fühlten uns in die Zeit der eleganten Belle Époque zurückversetzt. Diese Villa ist ein Traum für alle, die Nostalgie und den Charme der Vergangenheit lieben. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Beautifully designed apartment in a dream location

We had a lovely stay, the apartment was very spacious and clean, and had everything we needed. The view from the apartment is amazing, perfect for a relaxing evening with a glass of wine!Location is great, we found it easy to use the nearby public transport routes. Cristina provided details of local restaurants and tour groups prior to check in and was responsive to all of our queries. We highly recommend this apartment for a stay in Lake Como!

I had an incredible experience at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described – if not better. The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a dream house . The highlight, though, was the window view – absolutely stunning! Whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery was breathtaking and made every moment even more special. The host was responsive, kind, and made sure everything went smoothly. For the quality, comfort, and experience, this place is absolutely worth the money. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway.

Ce séjour en famille s’est extrêmement bien passé ; nous nous sommes régalés dans le logement de Luca qui correspondait parfaitement à la description. L’atout charme : le spa et le jacuzzi avec une vue imprenable sur le lac 😍 Un grand merci aux co-hôtes Andrea et Carla pour leur gentillesse et leur réactivité dans les échanges avant, pendant et après notre séjour. Je recommande sans hésitation !

Great location for a family. Centrally located and great view about. Washer was great and the outdoor space allowed us to dry our clothes quickly. It was nice for everyone to have space to spread out.

Rolig og flott sted, leiligheten var som beskrevet i annonsen. Vi var 6 voksne som hadde ei flott uke i leiligheten med flott utsikt. Vi leide sykler fra @Bike it! Bellagio, veldig god service her også. Fint å sykle å oppleve nye steder, ferge fra Bellagio gikk til begge sidene av innsjøen og var lett tilgjengelig 😊

Smještaj je bio jako ugodan, čist i predivno rustikalno uređen. Kuća se nalazi na mirnoj lokaciji s divnim pogledom na jezero, a upute koje smo dobili su nam omogućile da dođemo do nje bez problema. Također, u smještaju su nas dočekala svježa jaja, sok, slatkiši, pjenušac i drugi pokloni, što je vrlo lijepo i pohvalno. Svaka preporuka za ovaj smještaj ako želite miran i ugodan odmor, mi smo se osjećali kao kod kuće.
