Beautifully restored 400-year-old cottage, smallest house in Lymington, an ideal cosy retreat for couples complete with a peaceful private garden. Close to the historic coastal town of Lymington and railway station, an ancient seaport with a rich maritime history plus interesting architecture much of which is Georgian and Victorian. Cosy living space, wifi, smart TV, kitchen and bathroom with large shower, bedroom with king size bed. It also includes a lockable undercover storage for two bikes.

Cabin in the Forest

A charming solid oak framed cabin, situated on a 2 acre small holding in the heart of the New Forest. We run a brewery (PIG BEER) with beer garden on site. We play ambient music from 12pm up until 8:30pm in the summer. Check out @pigbeerco for current opening hours. We have an excellent farm shop and vineyard next door, and a good pub (The Filly) within 2 minutes walk. Setley is based 2 minutes drive outside of Brockenhurst. We're 20 minutes from Highcliffe Beach, and 5 minutes from Lymington.

Remember to keep the gate shut whenever you are coming and going as the ponies, donkeys and cows are free to meander just outside and they are always keen to help themselves to the greenery in the garden.

Pretty Victorian Railway Workers’ Cottage

This pretty Victorian Cottage in Brockenhurst was originally a railway workers' home. It is located in a friendly. quiet road, three minutes walk from the station and five minutes from the open forest (but very little disturbance from the trains!). Donkeys and ponies walk freely down the road. The village is seven minutes walk away and there is also a garage selling food, open until 9.00pm, near the end of the road.

This beautiful place is a hidden gem right in the heart of the New Forest. Maria and John were wonderful hosts. They were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was a delight. So much choice and all freshly cooked. There are lots of wonderful walks straight on their doorstep and we will never get tired of all the ponies and other animals. Our whole experience was wonderful and we would highly recommend it.

The cottage was a beautiful and peaceful place to be at the end of the day after a long walk. Clare made us feel welcome with little things such as milk in the fridge, butter and jam, biscuits…etc. It feels very homely, clean and welcoming. As soon as I stepped in I didn’t want to leave the place! Great location too with cafés close by to have breakfast or lunch and places for drinks and dinner. We had the opportunity to check in early and leave later which made our stay longer, which was well appreciated. I would recommend it to friends and family.

Julia is a lovely host and we felt right at home. The house is very spacious and clean, inviting to all including little ones. It is really a quaint and peaceful place. Julia was responsive and helpful when we had some questions and also was considerate of future guests. Would recommend without hesitation.

We absolutely loved ‘My Way’, it’s in the perfect location for exploring both the New Forest and the beaches. The village is gorgeous with everything you need within walking distance. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and comfortable with a lovely outside space. It was so quiet and peaceful, we all slept so well. I stayed with my 83 year old mum and my kids, 13 & 11. We were really lucky with the weather and made the most of the beautiful beaches nearby. Southbourne beach had free parking, soft sand and crystal clear water. Christchurch was beautiful too. There were laminated walking maps provided in the cottage so myself and my son would have a long walk each evening. We would definitely return, it was glorious!

Rachael and her parents were very welcoming and friendly. They kindly gave us lovely vegetables, salad, and delicious strawberries from their kitchen garden. And eggs from their rescue chickens. All fabulous! The Hayloft was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The only small downside was no ventilation in the bathroom. There was lots of information on walks, places to eat etc, which we found very useful. We did a number of walks from their information. We had dinner at The Royal Oak, a short walk away which was good with friendly staff, and a good atmosphere. Brunch at The Potting Shed was excellent, about 20/30 mins walk (up hill). It’s a very peaceful place, surrounded by beautiful countryside, and we’d certainly stay again.
