What a beautiful place and such a lovely host; nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel right at home. What more could you ask? Historic building with all amenities, panoramic views of the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, friendly host/dogs/cats and even a chicken!! We'll definitely be back! Kath, Joe, Anne and Ken 🥰

Kelly’s place was ideal for what we wanted it was private, clean and had everything you would want if you want to get off the grid for a little while which is what we needed with our demanding jobs, 100% Dog Friendly which was ideal for our pack of mutts, Kelly herself was really friendly, helpful and responsive if we needed anything. It’s close to cute little villages and only 5 miles away from the city of Lancaster and good walking / hiking spots close by.

Me and my partner stayed here for a weekend away and it was amazing. The cottage itself was beautiful on the inside and out. Very clean and tidy and had every amenity you could want. From a coffee machine to a food processor. There were also a variety of board games and helpful books about the cottage and activities. Very very spacious given the price and felt very luxurious and cosy. Felt immediately at home and I would LOVE to come and stay again once the barn is renovated as that also looks amazing. We went on a walk and saw some stunning views, while of course stopping to see the cows. Amazing amazing amazing. Would absolutely go again!

Ray and Sue were extremely responsive throughout, they met us and showed us around the apartment. They were very friendly and advised if we needed anything else we could reach out to them. The apartment was exactly as described, clean, loads if room, and we had very comfy beds. We had every item required in the kitchen, plus juice, milk and chocolate biscuits in the fridge which was a lovely gesture, plus tea, coffee, and sugar. Everything was to hand. We had a great stay, I would definitely recommend this accommodation, and our hosts Ray and Sue were brilliant. Thank you so much. X
