Rupert was a wonderful host -- very responsive and accommodating. He even moved the furniture around and purchased and installed a baby gate to make the cottage safe for our toddler -- all at no extra charge. The cottage is a spacious, pleasant place with many amenities. Our toddler enjoyed running around and exploring the yard.

We had a lovely peaceful 4 nights in this charmingly quirky self catering bedsit flat. Jessica was extremely helpful in sorting out a few minor problems caused by previous guests and we recommend Deynes House to anyone who doesn’t mind the unusual. Don’t be put off by the ancient plasterwork in the entrance stairwell, the flat itself is clean, tidy and well decorated. We ate in all the best pubs in the area and The Plough in the village was the best of all, the food was superb! Enjoy your stay, Peter & Vicki 😊

I stayed at Luke and Rachel’s Annexe for a longer stay and had a really positive experience. They were really great hosts - friendly, helpful, very kind and always easy to communicate with. The property is set in a stunning location in a beautiful village, with peaceful surroundings and lovely countryside nearby. It was an easy commute into London Liverpool Street (you do need a car to get to the nearest train station which is a few minutes drive away, and there’s free parking on the village streets which was a bonus). All in all, a great base for a longer stay. Thanks again for having me!

Interesting to compare and contrast this delightful airbnb with a town offer. Difficult to find initially, easy when you know how! But worth the effort. Beautifully located in farming countryside with various walks available in nearby arable fields. The property is attached to a barn, with outside seating, perfect for an early morning cuppa or evening sundowner. Cathanne is deservedly a super host! Welcoming, attention to detail and guests needs. The property is immaculate and well equipped. With outside parking. Have no hesitation in recommending both Cathanne and property.
