This peaceful and cozy house was built in 1791 and is located in beautiful nature with meadows, deciduous and coniferous forests, along with Lake Solgen. The house has a fireplace, tiled stoves and wood stove, is nicely and carefully renovated and has WiFi and TV. At the back, there is a lawn with its own garden furniture and grill. In the kitchen, there is a stove, oven, fridge, freezer, kettle and coffee maker. Good hiking and cycling as well as 600 meters to the lake where you can swim, fish or just sit and enjoy as well as cows and calves grazing around.

This newly renovated cozy cottage is in the middle of the forest on the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town of Eksjö, the elk park in Skullaryd and Skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it is an hour to Astrid Lindgren's World. All rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier's cottage from the 1700s. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing opportunities are available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cottage.

Lovely place in the Swedish countryside

Welcome to Älmesås! You will stay in your own little house on our farm. Within ten swedish miles you will reach Astrid Lindgrens Värld, Kosta Boda, High Chaparall among other nice places. You will stay in a very calm and quiet environment. If you take a walk, perhaps you will meet our nice Highland Cattles. You also can spend some time together with our bunny , four cats and the goats Iris, Diesel and texas. Perhaps you can get eggs from the chickens. The rooster Charlie says "Good morning"!

The river passes right by the house and the lake with a small beach is only a few minutes by foot where you can swim 🏊‍♀️ You have the entire house and separate guesthouse to yourself and a huge garden (3500 m2) to enjoy with your family. Att få bli ett med naturen i en magisk omgivning är något speciellt. Här kan ni slappna av och bara njuta! Till byggnaden hör även en terrass med bord & stolar. Byggnad uppfördes 2023 där byggmaterial är närproducerat, möbler & elektronik är återbrukade för att få ett så litet klimatavtryck som möjligt. Welcome to Värneslätt 5. Here you can enjoy a rural location with neighbors in sight. The wooden town of Eksjö is a nice excursion destination as well as Astrid Lindgren's World. In front of the cottage, the Solgenån flows where you can swim, fish or take a ride with a canoe that is available to borrow. If you are looking for a well-maintained swimming area, Mellby swimming area is a couple of kilometers away. Take a break and unwind in this peaceful oasis.
