House holiday rentals in Buchanan

What a wonderful stay our family had in Michiana Shores, Indiana at Greg’s place. Even though 2 of the 3 days were mostly overcast / rain, there was still plenty of activities to do. We hung out in the pool & hot tub areas multiple times, had a fire every night, and cooked all 3 meals each day in the wonderfully maintained kitchen. The kids loved their room setup with the bunk bed and twin bed. The parks nearby are lovely. The backyard was very luscious with tranquility full of greenery and peacefulness. Greg was very responsive and helped us out with questions before and during our stay. Definitely would recommend this spot if you are wanting to take a vacation near the nationally known Indiana Sand Dunes. Overall 5+ stars!

We are so happy with our stay at the farmhouse. Beautiful home and outdoor area with a clean pool. Close to the beach and restaurants. Such a beautiful area of Michigan. Vanessa was a great host and we can’t wait to visit again!

Everything went great, Kelly was always quick to answer my messages. About the only thing I would suggest is to bring extra wash clothes and towels if you have more than a few people staying. Other than that everything was really nice for our girls weekend with cousins. Great House and location to the wineries.

Beautiful house with a stunning view, and walking distance from the beach.

This is our 3rd year in a row to come for an extended Labor Day weekend and bring our kids and/or grandkids. We love the setting. The pool is perfect for the younger kids and the adults appreciate the beauty of all the surroundings, including at poolside. If we could change anything at all we would add another bedroom as we can't quite get all of our extended family here at one time. That said, we would like to return for a 4th year at Labor Day weekend time next year. The combination of beauty, privacy, amenities, condition (always in great shape!), and proximity to lovely South Haven can hardly be beat!

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

Melody's communication from the start was amazing. She left a binder with great instructions as well as recommendations. The home was filled with any kitchen supplies you would need, which was very helpful. It was me and 6 kids, they did not leave the pool or game room! We will absolutely visit again.

I recently stayed with a few of my girlfriends for the weekend here. My friends and I absolutely loved this place. It was in a picturesque setting, and we loved how cozy it was. We especially enjoyed having the hot tub, the access to the public pool with clubhouse, and being able to walk to the beach to see the sunsets. We were able to enjoy a fire every night within the fire pit and loved being near the woods and the pond. Kristen was extremely responsive and a great host. My girlfriends and I would definitely stay again. We absolutely loved it here! Location is perfect for visiting lots of restaurants, wineries, and enjoying the best of Southwest Michigan.

We had a fabulous weekend at Karen's cottage. It was quiet, cozy, and the perfect getaway from the city noise. Her thoughtfully curated home felt like stepping into a quaint 70's oasis. The home backs up to a heavily wooded area and our pup could not get enough!

It was nice, quiet, & in a peaceful location. It felt very homey. It was a good distance from hiking trails, beaches, & Warren dunes. Upstairs was a little warm at night, but there were fans in both of the rooms. The air conditioning was great on the main level. Would recommend!

Heather‘s place is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do it justice! I was on a solo trip but this place would be wonderful for a girls weekend or family get together. At first the location seems so far out, but in reality everything I was seeing while there was within a 15 minute drive. Highly recommend this place in the country. It was peaceful, calm, quiet, and extremely clean and organized.

Place was spectacular! It was just as described and having everything labeled was helpful. Our dog enjoyed the huge fenced in backyard as well as the open space within the house. You won't need for anything but if you do Jessica responds ASAP! We definitely recommend this house if you're visiting the Mishawaka/South Bend area!

Great place to stay! The space was just right for our family of four. the two littles loved the games and toy that was at the house, and we loved the stocked coffee area and easy washer/dryer. Easy drives to Indiana Dunes NP, Silver Beach in St Joseph, and other fun destinations, as well as local u-pick farms made this a great stay and great trip. Robert was very quick and responsive with the briefest wifi glitch when we first arrived. We will be back!!

If you’re considering this booking-don’t hesitate, just do it! The property is full of eclectic art, both inside and out. The house was CLEAN-like the kind of clean that makes you reconsider your own home and how you clean it. The location is an easy drive to all of the Southwestern MI hotspots, but away from the crowds, in a firmly residential neighborhood that felt safe. The beds are soft and the linens were fresh. The playroom held my children’s interests as well as the area’s beaches! The hosts have firmly earned every 5 star rating. They clearly take great pride in their roles as innkeepers, and go beyond expectations to ensure their guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. We’ve stayed in many Airbnb locations, and never have felt so cared for. A delightful scavenger hunt was planned for us. And the kitchen was stocked with an abundance of food and drinks-beyond your typical coffee and takeout sauce packets. Communication was easy and incredibly responsive.

This place was awesome! Meg and Kyle were so flexible, sent over amazing recommendations, and truly helped cultivate the perfect girls weekend! From being so close to the wine trail, having the perfect landscape, and the best design style, truly an amazing experience and stay!

My husband and I met our grown kids and spouses and 3 grands here for a weekend of ND football and relaxation. We all fell in love with this Airbnb. Everything about it was perfect. The house is really so much bigger than it looks in the pics, and the basement was perfect for our grands to feel like they had a space all their own. We will definitely be back, and will also recommend it to our Irish fans!

What is spectacular view!! One of the best in the southwest Michigan area ! Enjoyed the kayaks that were provided for a peaceful tour of the lake. The fire pit was excellent to enjoy a gorgeous sunset along the lake ! Don’t pass up your opportunity to stay here !!

The river house is a fantastic retreat. The home was spotless, updated and had a lovely, mild scent. The views were just incredible. We enjoyed relaxing on the lower deck watching the swans. Many families on boats went by. They always had a friendly wave. It was the perfect starting point for the Heritage Trail driving tour. Thank you Susanna for sharing your lovely home.

The house and adjoining land are so beautiful and peaceful. The house has a beautiful wooden interior and very open layout. The kitchen is super spacious, which makes it easy to maneuver. The backyard and patio area are great places to have larger group gatherings. The bedrooms are adequately equipped with all needs, and the bathrooms are well maintained. Our group enjoyed every aspect of the house, and we believed it’s one of the most visually beautiful interiors we’ve seen. We would highly recommend staying here, especially with ease of use to get to nearby locations.

Not a single complaint!

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our daughter’s 21st birthday and our nephew’s wedding at this beautiful home in Niles, Michigan. The house is in a peaceful, private setting with a walkable path leading to a small river, perfect for relaxing, kayaking, and snapping some beautiful photos. The amenities are top-notch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the linens and towels were truly excellent. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. This was an ideal place to gather, relax, and celebrate. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene and well-equipped getaway.
