Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Buckhorn Lake

This was without a doubt the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever been in! It was such a beautiful space. The view was unmatched and there was lots of room for all of us! We definitely plan on going back during summer months. May long weekend this year wasn’t warm and we would have loved to enjoy sitting out on that dock. Will definitely be returning!

Tanya and Peter were very responsive and their place is so lovely! So peaceful! They really have thought of everything. Thank you very much! Would recommend to couples looking to have a unique place to stay and just have time together.

The rental place is clean and well organized. Nina is quick to respond. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area.

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

Easy smooth check-in. Beautiful cottage (as described)! Hot tub was great!

Chelsea’s place was absolutely beautiful ! Upon walking in the house, the view of the water is breathtaking and did not get old each morning while sipping our coffees. The home itself was very homey, and a great wide open space for gathering with friends. Chelsea was super helpful when booking, made recommendations and was super responsive during our stay with any questions we had. I would highly recommend a stay here - can’t get much closer to being “on the lake”!

James' Lakehouse was the perfect getaway. Incredibly clean, comfortable, quiet and a gorgeous location with easy access to all PEC has to offer.. The hottub with the view of the lake was the cherry on top. We'll definitely be back!

Sebastian’s place was absolutely wonderful, my husband and I came for our one year anniversary with no set plans about what we wanted to do in the area. The place was gorgeous, perfect little home away from home, in the mornings we drank our coffees on the front deck watching the butterflies in the garden, and in the evenings the hot tub barn made for a really beautiful evening hangout. Sebastian included a great bulletin board of things to do in the area with a fun ranking system so during the day my husband and I made a little road trip out of the most recommended attractions. I highly recommend the Petroglyph provincial park - it genuinely took our breath away. Thank you Sebastian for such a wonderful stay!

Derek and Doreen were extremely friendly, responsive, and hospitable, everything in the suite and in the backyard was as shown, if not better. They even gave us a gift as we had mentioned our wedding day was the day prior, couldn’t recommend them and this place enough, we would book again in a heart beat, thanks for everything Derek and Doreen!

A friend and I decided to head north for a quick night away. Taurean’s “King’s Den” apartment was the perfect choice! A gorgeous accommodation, filled with special little extras and attention to detail! We enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Simona’s place! The property was beautiful with serene lake access, and the two decks made our evening hangouts especially comfortable and enjoyable. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed for a stress-free and relaxing stay. Simona was incredibly kind and welcoming, and she went out of her way to make our visit comfortable, especially with our infant. Her thoughtfulness and hospitality truly made a difference. After 3 days in Toronto, Tunde's accommodation is a haven of peace. Very well maintained accommodation and what a view🤩. Good place to go for 1 day to Algonquin Park (80 km east entrance of the park). Visit the Egen Falls (a short walk not far from Bancroft). shop in Bancroft for groceries. Everything was perfect and Tunde responds quickly to our questions. i recommend this listing.

Wonderful hosts with outstanding HOT homemade breakfasts! Really appreciated the extra perks of magnifier make-up mirror, house coat, lush towels, several Keurig coffee pod choices and 2 choices for my own private exterior sitting area. Level access and close parking to entrance, extra wide interior doors. MaryAnn was spot on for my food choices even including 10% cream for my morning coffee and crisp bacon. Very large space with two large bedrooms, slept like a baby and the TV included all the streaming you would want Close to Art College and short drive into town of Haliburton. It was a bit chilly for June but Gerry turned on the propane fireplace then all was cozy. Book it - you won't be disappointed!

Travelling in an area which is a little under serviced for accommodations. This wonder apartment was a great stop on our journey. Very interesting history of the property, so pleased the host to preserve and share it with others.

What a little slice of heaven Finn and Trudy have to offer their guests. From the moment of booking we received amazing communication that both prepped and informed us of our upcoming visit. Local restaurants, activities in the area, direction to the location as well as check in instructions, Upon arrival we were greeted by Finn who was ever so kind and took a moment to show us the cottage we would be staying in. It was apparent right away that if we needed anything there would be no hesitation. The cottage was stalked with all little things that make you feel at home as well as extras such as milk, cream, condiments and spices. There is even a Keurig, coffee pods and tea available :) The beds we cozy. Nicely made with comfortable bedding and pillows and the bathroom had towels, face cloths, toothpaste. soap, shampoo, q-tips and make up pads. We were thoroughly impressed with all the fine details and extras that Finn offers his guests. This is our favorite place we have ever stayed!

Great rustic place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Reminded me of my childhood family cottage. It was private and had everything one needs in a semi offgrid location. Bill was prompt, accommodating and friendly. Bring more firewood than you'll think you'll need! Thanks again, Bill!

We had a wonderful time, it was easy going with Elizabeth and john ! We loved our time there and would recommend to anybody who wants peace and quiet ! The sheep are just a beautiful addition to it !! Thank you we will reserve again for sure !

The cottage was the perfect place for a relaxing long weekend with the pups. The property is private and allowed for us to wander and gather around the porch. The cottage itself was clean, well stocked, and cozy!

My partner, my dog and I stayed at John’s cabin and we had a wonderful experience. The cabin is enchanting, the surroundings are peaceful and the hosts are very kind - even the goats! We loved cooking outdoors and dipping our feet in the creek. I would highly recommend this cabin. Be sure to check out Church-Key Brewery nearby :)

We had a great stay at the Atkin's Hideaway. We kayaked and paddle boarded around the entire lake and also went for a swim. There are few cottages on this lake so it was extremely peaceful, quiet, and private. The outdoor shower was such a nice touch. The cabin is super cute and had everything you could need. Cassie really thought of everything and her attention to detail is amazing. We cooked on the BBQ which was really nice, all the supplies we could need were there. The bed was super comfy and the view from the bedroom was so nice to wakeup to. The toilet was easy to use. You will need bug spray if you want to do anything outdoors so don't forget it. Cassie was a great host and helped with everything. I would totally recommend booking this cabin as I will definitely be back!

This was my son (9) and my second stay with Steve. It was even more amazing! Ammenities have been added including a fire pit. The trails were all amazing and well groomed. Best of all was the fishing right outside the door with Steve giving my son expert instruction! We had the honor of spending time with Steve and his beautiful wife on this trip, and they made us feel like family. Steve even showed us the Garden Hill Farmer's Market just down the road, which had amazing food, frozen meals, and the best ice cream. This is an amazing community and Steve is a great resource of it. We can't wait for our next stay!
