The Grandview Yurt at Hogback Homestead is nestled into the mountains of Vermont. It features beautiful views, and is a minimalist and peaceful alternative to the more populated resort towns. The kitchenette is basic but provides the necessities, and the restroom is an outdoor sawdust style composting toilet. Electricity is supplied via a small off grid solar array, suitable for light electrical use (charging computers and electronics, powering lights etc). Please provide your own bedding!

We’re offering a comfortable, pet and kid-friendly, A-frame log cabin surrounded by 30 acres of pristine Appalachian woodland to explore and hike. We also have a 6 acre front yard complete with a 1 acre pond you are welcome to fish and relax by. After a long day enjoying all the rustic beauty and small town charm that Vermont has to offer, you can warm yourself by our pellet stove which heats both floors of our over 1,600 sq ft 4 bedroom, 2 full baths home. 6 guests max [infants included].

If you're into backcountry exploring & doing things on skis, snow-shoes or mountain bikes, our yurt is a fabulous jumping off point for you. Situated a stone's throw from Section 17 of the Catamount Trail, VT's end-to-end x-country ski trail, you will discover both moderate and advanced adventures here. Rugged but cozy, our yurt warms up quickly thanks to its resident "Aspen" wood stove. Add a charming outhouse, farm pump, deck & picnic table to the picture, and you'll be camping in style.

Despite her small stature, or maybe because of it, you’re sure to be charmed by her character, design ingenuity and thoughtful functionality. The Little Dipper is the perfect location for folks who want to do nothing in peace all day, adventure in the outdoors or drive the 35 minutes to explore Burlington Vermont's waterfront, art scene, restaurants, festivals, open air market and nightlife.

Riverside Tent Camping Site

Get back to nature! This is a quite riverside primitive campsite. NO BATHROOMS so everything is natural. Come let the tranquil noise of our river lul you to sleep in the fresh Adirondack mountain air. Lots of hiking, boating, rock climbing and mountain biking near by. Only 25 minutes to Lake Placid ( home of two winter Olympics) for some of the Adirondacks best restaurants and tourist destination. There are NO trash facilities on site, so if you pack it in, pack it out!

Camping on a Private Pond

A serene place in nature to unplug and unwind. It's private and quiet with the exception of the sound of the running brook. (NO WIFI or CELL service at the cabin) May come to the house if you need to get in touch during your stay. There is local hiking and two large lakes close by. Farmer's markets and acclaimed theatre are available throughout the Fall Season along with local beer-fests. Most of all, we have one of the most stunning foliage seasons in the country!

This cabin is set up to highlight the best of what Vermont has to offer. Located right across from the bike path and with its own private beach that shows an expansive view of the lake, you will forget all about the world outside. The basement is fully stocked with everything you need to make the most of your trip, including bikes, kayaks, and plenty of family-friendly outside games. Grille a meal, light the firepit, and enjoy the great outdoors!

Our house in rural Plainfield is a quiet place to enjoy Vermont's country roads, fields, mountains and night skies. Summer in Vermont is glorious, with blue skies, verdant fields, and full gardens. In fall, the maples turn red, orange, and gold. We welcome people of all races/nationalities. We strive to accommodate people with disabilities. We love to host families with babies and young children.
