Overlooking Porthtowan’s ‘Blue Flag’ award winning sandy beach & surfing destination, the beautiful SW coast path & many amenities are right on the doorstep, so no need to drive anywhere. It is the perfect base for a short break or holiday.

Cosy Beach House on the Seafront, Porthleven

If you’re looking for a quiet corner of Cornwall, where you can hear the sound of waves from your bed and drink tea from your sun-drenched terrace, this is the place for you. From the entrance, Mariners looks like a charming little beach bungalow. But, step through the doors into two spacious floors of complete calm and serenity. Babies up to 2yrs old are accepted at the barn and a cot with mattress, high chair, baby bath and changing mat can be provided.

Accommodation for two in quiet village, thirty nine steps above the beach, with direct access onto coast path. Fantastic views, clean air and rural surroundings in a well equipped annexe. Please note we are fairly isolated with no shop but the pub has recently sold and will reopen November2025. Up date….hurrah the village pub, the Five Pilchards, a 3 minute walk away, is now open with a great menu as well!.
