Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Cahuita

We loved everything about this place! It was so serene, private and beautiful. We sipped coffee on the deck in the mornings and watched the rain and the hummingbirds. On hot afternoons we enjoyed the dipping pool. In the evenings, we walked up the block to an Afro-Carribean restaurant with delicious food and dancing on Thursday nights. We also did a nice hike one morning in Cahuita National Park, which was a 5 minute walk away. Everything was in walking distance!! Even the grocery store was one block away. It was the perfect quick little get away for our 30th anniversary.

What a great place in the middle of the rain forest. It felt so good to be in the middle of nature, have a house with privacy, to be within walking distance of the local convenience store and local hotel to book our excursions. For just a few bucks the local tuk tuks took us in to the nearby city for some great local cuisine. Felt good to be forced to slow down and relax.

We loved staying here, the house is very comfortable, close to markets and town, yet tucked away on a private street with a path to beautiful quiet beaches. The location was perfect and we loved to sit on the back deck and watching the wildlife around us, take a plunge in the pool, and walk to the beach. The perfect place to relax!

The home was beautiful and looked just like the photos! Please keep in mind this is an open concept home. So understandably nature will join you if you are sitting in the outdoor common area. We very much enjoyed evenings playing in the pool. The kitchen was stocked with all the needed utensils to cook meals. AC worked great in all the bedrooms. Area felt super safe with 2 gates to get into the home. Can’t wait to come back! Host was prompt and responded to any questions we had.

Jessica really helped us out through a very difficult situation. After being double booked at another place, she got us in the next day extra early. She was super responsive and easily the best host I have dealt with yet. I strongly encourage staying here. Just as a word of advice, you 100% need to have 4x4 to get to this place. You may not need a full size SUV with 4x4, but anything helps.

We had a fantastic stay at NAO! The place was very nice, clean, and incredibly comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and hassle-free stay, from a well-equipped kitchen to cozy spaces for lounging. One of the best surprises was the pool — it was even bigger and nicer than it looked in the photos! The location is also perfect — very well situated, just a short distance from downtown Puerto Viejo. It was super convenient to explore the area, enjoy local restaurants, shops, and the beach, all without needing to go far. The hosts were wonderful — very kind, thoughtful, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay.

We spent a lot of time trying to choose a spot for our week in Costa Rica. Our stay exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful piece of paradise. So clean and open, surrounded by a large yard full of flora and fauna. So many lovely details went into the building of this airbnb. We loved the covered porch so much. Our hosts were beyond gracious. They answered questions and helped us navigate things like bike rentals. We felt so lucky to stay at Casa Corazon. The nearby beach was a beautiful feature too. Quick bike rides into Puerto Viejo were fun. We loved exploring spaces and places on foot, on bike, or by Tuk Tuks. We are so grateful!!

We loved staying at Franks place. Its a cute get away and right at the beach and close to cocles amenities. We had a great time talking to Frank and his wife and would highly recommend this place.!

This was home away from home. Nestled in the most beautiful and alive garden just steps from a pristine and seemingly private beach, Playa Negro. The home was a perfect landing spot to enjoy peace and quiet with my partner as well as a quick 5 minute drive into town for shopping, eating and adventure. Zahara was such a kind and friendly host, with great recommendations and communication. I look forward to returning!

Are you prepared for music and street party until ‘round 1:30am? Do you enjoy a firm king size mattress, cool AC, mini fridge with a kicking little freezer, plenty of living space and a chill deck with just enough width for two chairs and table to watch the party unfold? If so, this is it. If not, I understand and I’ve been there. At this moment, embracing humanity and One Love it is important. Two nights in Paz’s end suite unit was the exact right call. Yummy food, drinks and shops in every direction and even across the street in the live music joint. Embrace it with all your heart, spirit and soul.

I can only highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to come to Punta Uva. The beach house is very simply furnished but we lacked nothing. You are right on the beach and we have been able to watch the most beautiful sunsets on the beach of Punta Uva. You are surrounded by nature and we were also able to discover some animals in the garden of Molly's accommodation. We had the best time here. On the day of departure, Molly's son opened coconuts for us, from which we drank the coconut water - so delicious. He even gave us coconuts. The whole family is incredibly nice. It is a beautiful place and it is exactly as described by Molly. We hope that we can come back some day.

I stayed at Manu’s jungle loft for 3 weeks and had a wonderful time. The space is comfortable and rustic, with wonderful views and a very comfortable bed. The beaches nearby are some of the best in the world, and it’s very easy to walk to nearby restaurants or grab a TukTuk any time. Manu and Lucas were kind and gracious hosts. I hope to stay again!

Truly was the most magical stay. The most perfect location, can walk or ride bike to local beach and restaurants. The place was extremely quiet and clean. the family underneath were so friendly and gave us great recommendations for things to do. And had the cutest dogs and cat. Our stay was too short and wish we could have stayed longer! This place is paradise i cannot recommend this stay enough!!

Everything is very neat and pleasant, the access is a bit hidden and the street has a lot of ballast and holes but the place as such is very good, the host is very friendly and responds quickly and the entry instructions are clear

This is an awesome place to stay, rest and/or work. It feels and is a peaceful and quiet place where you will enjoy your vacation, the pool is very familiar, you can see the ocean from the balcony, and it is a fact that you will see very relaxed iguanas taking the sun <3. Dalma was very friendly and responsive... I'd love to be back again!

Great apt near the beach. About a 5 min drive to cocles and 10 to Puerto Viejo. Great apt for a couple and dog. Extra sofa bed and outdoor area were nice perks!

I had a perfect stay in Puerto Viejo and in Ernyk his airbnb. He helped me with extra requests which was very nice. The house is very new and beautiful, a lot of green and animals around + only 5 min bikeride to shops and restaurants. Another plus is the eco friendly elements in the house. I would recommend this place 1000% and hope to return someday.

We absolutely loved staying at Jan's place. Both Jan and Yoshi went above and beyond in answering any questions we had prior to arriving, including providing us a connection to book tours ahead of time. They were also flexible and kind when our plans changed a couple weeks before the trip, and we very much appreciated that. When there, they sent us lots of recommendations for beaches/restaurants, along with answering any questions we had promptly. The house was clean and the gardens were just stunning. With the private gate and location we felt safe staying there, and the possibility to lock valuables up in a safe was a great extra option. We loved being able to just walk a few steps to the beautiful beach even just to have our morning coffee by the water :) All in all, we would definitely recommend staying at Jan/Yoshi's place. The beautiful location combined with the responsive, helpful hosts made our trip so enjoyable. If ever in the location we would love to stay again!

Cinzia's place is a quick walk from Playa Chiquita and is located in a secure gated property. it's rare to find a proper safe heated water shower in CR, so to us this was a great place to stay. There is an outdoor shower in case you need to wash off the sand which I found very helpful. Location is also right in the middle of Punta Uva, Cocles and equidistant from PV and Manzanillo. Highly recommended.
