Located in the hamlet of Rivals, 10 minutes from Lake Montbel, 1 hour from the ski slopes, Foix and Carcassonne and 1.5 hours from the Mediterranean Sea. Chalet Salamandre

Enjoy the peace, the view and the comfort of this stylish chalet. Very suitable as a romantic getaway or relaxing in nature with your family. We are at 650 meters altitude, in a hot summer it is always a little cooler than in the valley and with a breeze, very pleasant. At night, the lake cools down and it's a good night's sleep. We don't need air conditioning. Dogs are welcome, €15 per stay. For the winter months there is a wood stove. The firewood is not included in the rental.

Perched at 1400m and facing south, it features a large, very flowery garden and a breathtaking view of the valley, Canigou, and the Carança massifs. Ideal for disconnecting! Wildlife is omnipresent and easy to observe. Numerous hiking or mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Our hamlet enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located 40 minutes from the ski slopes and one hour from the sea.

The 1700's 'Mountain Village Studio' in Nohèdes (990m alt.) has been fully restored in 2021 with a contemporary interior design overlooking the village square of Nohèdes with stunning views of the valley and mountains. The location with a small terrace ensures a quiet and peaceful setting. There are great hiking opportunities into the Natural Reserve of Nohèdes with it's 4 lakes and stunning views of the Pyrenées mountains and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

July: admire the fireworks of the city of Carcassonne and find the Bergerie in the evening in its green setting.

Coquette little village house. Let yourself be lulled by the sound of the river. You choose: idleness or activities or both. A large number of white water activities nearby, hikes, walks. Between Mountain and Sea (which is only 1 hour drive away). We will personally welcome you for the handover of the keys. Linens are provided. 1 Companion pet accepted. The garage is not part of the rental: do not park in front.

Gîte among the vineyards

This recently renovated house is set in the middle of a 70-hectare organic wine-growing estate, in the Cathar region and close to Carcasonne. It offers magnificent views of the surrounding vineyards and forests, ideal for walks, with views of the Pyrenees. This house is next to the Belgian owners' central farm, but is entirely private. During your stay, you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the winery.
