Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Calais

A super nice little cottage equipped with everything you need. Coffee, tea, cappuccino, sugar, even a sandwich maker is available. Decorated with love. On the terrace, table, chairs, loungers are just perfect. And the bed is super comfortable, there is nothing to complain about. I would love to recommend it. And we walked about 5 km to Carlais

It was as if we were arriving at a small oasis in the middle of our agitated world. The house was even more beautiful than described and we were struck by the cleanliness of the place. In principle, it is not even necessary to leave the estate, as everything is planned to keep you entertained. The neighborhood and Ardre around the lake were also very idyllic to visit (everything is within walking distance). Véronique is a fantastic host, involved in your vacation weeks ahead. She had decorated the house with birthday garlands for our 60s, and prepared a fresh quiche as well as cookies. In short, I would recommend this place to anyone.

We were very pleased. The beach was quickly accessible and the accommodation was also very child-friendly. Communication was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the wonderful time at the property.

We really enjoyed our stay—everything was perfect. It’s a great place to relax; we loved the jacuzzi and the view of nature. The house has all the necessary utensils for cooking, and we especially liked the coffee machine. We hope to come back soon.

Nice stay in the small house on the dune of the SLACK. Mischel is a very welcoming "host", who makes every effort to ensure that the stay goes very well. He is very discreet but knows how to make himself available easily if needed. We had a very nice week's vacation thanks to him. Thanks again for everything!

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment is very clean and beautifully furnished - you feel right at home. You can easily find a parking space in the street or in the surrounding area. A supermarket is about 5 minutes away. The beach is about 20 minutes away by foot. There is also a beautiful park that is not far away - in short: you can reach a lot on foot!! I can only recommend Airbnb :)

The apartment was very clean and exactly as shown in the photos. You feel very good there thanks to the pretty decor and the little touches. The possibility of free parking nearby is a big plus. Pamela was very responsive.

We had a great weekend at Laurine's, for the music festival, which was happening downstairs from the apartment. With a view of the Place d'Armes. Everything is within walking distance, the beach 10 minutes away, a supermarket just downstairs from the apartment, and many restaurants and bars nearby. Laurine is a very welcoming and accommodating host for arrival and departure. The photos correspond exactly to the apartment, everything was spotless and a very nice decor. A real little piece of heaven! We fell in love with this accommodation when we saw the listing and the stay was simply superb. The accommodation is charming, tastefully decorated, very clean and perfectly equipped. You can feel that it has been thought out with care and love. Every detail is there to make the stay pleasant and comfortable. It feels good, like home... but better! We really enjoyed our stay in Calais and thanks to the ideal location of the apartment we were able to easily walk between the beach and the city center. Perfect for a little getaway 2-3h away from Paris by car! We stayed over a long weekend and had the best time. Christine’s place was in perfect distance from beach or bars/ restaurants while being calm and private! Amazing!

We had a great stay (3 days/2 nights) in Wimereux! The accommodation is perfectly located with a magnificent sea view, a real pleasure from the moment you wake up! Great apartment, very lovingly and tastefully furnished, has everything you need, with a view of the sea. Key handover uncomplicated. Beach and restaurants within walking distance, free parking in front of the house. Gassy area right in front of the house, dogs are even allowed on the beach after 7 pm. Alexis is a great host, he responded quickly to questions. Would love to come again anytime.

Isabelle was a very helpful and nice host. The view is magnificent. We got two nights in a row with sunset! Lively street outside but new windows dampen the sound and the blackout was perfect. The bedroom is quiet. Very good private parking. Highly recommend and we would be happy to come back!

Beautiful clean apartment. Everything you need is available. Only a stone's throw to the beautiful beach. The city is about 20 minutes' walk away. Unfortunately, I don't find the city center of Calais so beautiful. Many buildings have not been modernized and renovated. Few shops. Otherwise, it is a good starting point for excursion destinations. e.g. to Cap Blanc Nez + Cap Gris Nez.
