We could not be more excited to share our little slice of heaven with Y’all! The lodge is located in Hackberry,LA just off the ship channel. Whether you are here to kick back and relax or try any of the outdoor activities only southwest Louisiana can offer this lodge is convenient to everything the area has to offer and has beautiful waterfront views of the ship canal. The lodge consists of 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and is fully furnished. We do offer dock and boat slip access for an extra fee.

Waterfront Property with boat slip and electric lift for a max 16’ boat. The property is only 2 miles from boat launch and a short boat ride to Calcasieu Lake where you can enjoy fishing and water sports. Also nearby are two resort casinos and plenty of shopping and restaurants. This property has a covered outdoor space to enjoy the water views, raised deck, and is beautifully decorated with a fully equipped kitchen, 2 full bathrooms, washer, dryer, and amenities including wi-fi and toiletries.

Upon arrival as your looking at the beautifully landscaped Prien Lake Park, and homes in the neighborhood you will know you picked the perfect location for your safety and convenience. French styled outdoor features of this 3 bedroom 2 bath home gives a nice touch of Louisiana. Opening the door you will see a large and open living room with 2 seating areas, the kitchen, the dining, and outside the large windows in the living room a great shaded patio. The perfect rental to accommodate all. Located walking distance from the water and public boat launch. A great spot for outdoorsman to have easy access to water for fishing and local hunting blinds. 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths. 2 living rooms to accommodate a larger party! The perfect front patio to enjoy a nice evening. The boat slips are public — they allow you to rent them for $25 a night but you can’t reserve the slip until the week of. The slips do not lift. ** NO PETS ALLOWED**

Will accommodate short & long term stays! We update our calendar availability monthly b/c of our work/travel schedules. If you're trying to reserve for a few months out & it seems to be booked just message us b/c it most likely is available. Any questions about us or our listing just ask! Our place is perfect for someone passing through for work or for play. It's comfy & is positioned in a quiet spot. Our standards are high when it comes to keeping it spotless for our guests!

Sweet Little Fishing Camp

Take it easy at this unique, perfect little place. After fishing all day in Big Lake for speckled trout and red fish, relax just a few minutes from the public boat ramp and guide services. Plenty of parking for a boat. Big beautiful back yard with huge shade trees. Wildlife Refuge only minutes away. Just a fishing camp is all it is. No pets allowed. Please read the house manual for house information.
