Monthly Rentals in California Island

We stayed 9 nights at this place with 4 family members. It was quaint, peaceful, and felt very homey and private. The house seems to be older, but our family had no trouble staying comfortably. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, and the location was convenient—close to Schnucks and other shops. There were three bedrooms with nice bedding and mattresses, which was my favorite part of the stay. Toilet paper, bath items like shampoo and conditioner, and food condiments were either very low in stock or seemed quite old, so I’d recommend bringing your own essentials. Overall, it was a good deal, and our family had an enjoyable stay.

Great place to stay! Very comfortable, clean, and in a safe neighborhood. Staff was friendly & available but they leave you alone and give you your privacy. Lindsey was quick to respond to any concerns or questions. Highly recommend. 5 stars!

This was a very clean and homely spot. I liked that it was a little secluded and at the end of a road. No late traffic or worry of my vehicle outside. The bed was very comfortable too!

Andrew’s place was like a 1920’s time capsule with some modern amenities. Quaint country living close to the river & train tracks. Andrew was very responsive and helpful when we had some questions.
