Beautiful traditional mountain house of more than 100m2 in stone and completely renovated in 2020/2021. Perched at 1400m and facing south with a large garden full of flowers and a breathtaking view of the Têt valley, the Canigou and facing the Carança massifs . Fauna is omnipresent and easy to observe and many hiking and mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Just perfect. Extremely friendly hosts, the house is spacious and well equipped. It is very well located, secluded out of town while being within walking distance of Thuir and its shops. For those wishing to discover the region, we remain close to the seaside towns and Perpignan (by car). Toys for kids, horses, and chickens… Probably my best Airbnb experience in 13 years of use.

We hosted a small wedding on the property and it was perfect! The bedrooms and common areas were spacious and there were ample bathrooms and kitchen spaces. The property is even more beautiful than the photos! The property is a bit of a ways up a dirt road so make sure you have an appropriate vehicle and follow the instructions closely.
