Villa holiday rentals in Cannobio

We feel so lucky to have found this airbnb for our family stay during our daughter's wedding week in Lake Como. The villa was gorgeous, even more beautiful than the pictures on the site. We booked the home originally because my parents were going to be joining us, and we knew that my father, who is an historian, would love the history surrounding the villa, and the gardens and frescos. My parents unfortunately had to cancel their trip at the last minute, but my husband, sister and son were able to stay there, and loved it! Our week in Cernobbio will be a memorable one, for many reasons, and Villa Mantegazza will always have a special place in our hearts. As some have noted, it is a walk up hill, and we had to drag 4 heavy suitcases up the gravel walkway and then two flights of stairs. So it definitely requires a little effort. Although it seems most homes in the area require some walking and stairs or climbing, so this wasn't unique in the least. Thank you Renata and Sara!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in dieser traumhaften Villa am Comer See! Die Lage direkt am See ist einfach unschlagbar – der private Seezugang war ein echtes Highlight und perfekt für entspannte Stunden am Wasser. Die Villa war nicht nur stilvoll und sehr sauber, sondern auch leicht zu erreichen, was die Anreise angenehm unkompliziert machte. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber: äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer schnell in der Kommunikation.

Soggiorno perfetto! La casa era esattamente come nelle foto: pulito, accogliente e curato nei dettagli. Il check-in è stato semplice e puntuale. L’host è stato gentile e disponibile per ogni esigenza, rispondendo sempre rapidamente. Consiglio assolutamente a chi cerca un alloggio tranquillo!

Beautiful views! About 20 minute walk to town. Lots of stairs! The road was a little nerve racking when walking — no sidewalks and many blind turns. The hosts were fantastic and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. We really enjoyed staying here!

We just adored this old Italiano villa, the small terrazzo on the roof became our favorit social spot where we loved the views of the lake and surroundings.

Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das ganze Grundstück ist eingezäunt und somit konnte sich unser Sohn ohne Sorge auf dem gesamten Grundstück austoben. Der Ausblick ist ein Traum und auch die Orientierung des Hauses ist perfekt - am Morgen Sonne, dann wird die Terrasse gegen Mittag schattig, sodass es nie zu heiß war und man sich den ganzen Tag draußen aufhalten konnte. Wirklich zu empfehlen, wenn man nach Ruhe sucht. Marco ist ein super Gastgeber, immer erreichbar, sehr hilfreich und zuvorkommend!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen, der perfekt eingezäunte Garten, war ein Traum mit Kindern und Hund. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Es war alles vorhanden und die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar

We stayed as four couples so had the whole house to ourselves great each having en-suite bathrooms and one to spare ,nice communal area ,kitchen was ok but we hardly cooked in ,great location for the lake and the railway station.Patrizia was very attentive and any problem we had she sorted straight away.Stresa is a beautiful place lots of lovely bars and restaurants and the lake is stunning. We done the scenic train to Locarno and then ascona which was stunning and the ferry back to stresa , we have all fell in love with the Italian lakes.

The house and garden are an amazing place to stay. The views over the lake and the expansive and gorgeous garden and pool area are good to relax and chill and enjoy the Italian weather. The house is well maintained and I also really liked the kitchen and how well it was equipped. We had a good time cooking and BBQing. There are lots om fun games in the house as well (pingpong, fussbal, etc) Andrea was a fantastic, kind and flexible host who communicated really well during the entire process. I would love to go back to this house!

This was one of the best air bnb experiences I have had, highly highly recommend. The photos do not do the view justice, it is truly amazing. The pool is perfect for families with children. The air BnB has everything you could need, comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, clean modern bathrooms, so specious. We had the most amazing week! Deborah is an incredible host, very detailed guide book, excellent communication, she went out of her way to make sure our stay was super. We didn’t want to leave. It is a 30 minute walk down the hill to the centre of Menaggio. The hill to the top is steep with cars/walking but it is so so worth it for the view. Thank you Deborah, we couldn’t have had a better time.

Alles war super die Unterkunft ist super und die Aussicht und der Gartensitzplatz mit Pool war genial. Wir kommen gerne wieder und wünschen allen einen so super Aufenthalt wie wir ihn hatten.

We are a family of 5 and absolutely loved staying in Pierina's Airbnb. The place was clean, beautifully situated write at the lake, and we felt very welcome. We would definitely come back - can recommend!

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans le logement de Valerio. La maison est très grande , nous étions 2 familles, les deux logements indépendants étaient donc très pratique. La maison est proche du centre de Cernobbio accessible à 10 minutes à pied. Charmant village . On peut y prendre facilement le bateau pour visiter les villes autour du lac. La vue depuis la maison est agréable. Petit bémol pour le stationnement : nous avions un véhicule 9 places et il était très difficile de rentrer dans l’allée (largeur du portail étroite) et de faire demi tour. Autre point à revoir : nombreux meubles cassés : la banquette lit du salon a un pied en moins et était maintenue avec une pile de livres, lattes de lit également cassée et chaises aussi. Du mobilier extérieur aurait été appréciable car il fallait sortir la table de l’intérieur pour la mettre dehors. De même que quelques fauteuils d’extérieur pour profiter du parc et de l’ombre serait il plus. Nous recommandons cette adresse pour un séjour à Côme

We had an awesome time in Erba. We needed a peaceful place to relax before and after a wedding and the house was exactly that. beautiful old Italian Villa with a great, secluded garden. Marta was very responsive and flexible when in came to checking in and out. 10 out of 10! Thanks a lot Marta!!!

Atemberaubende Lage, der Aufstieg lohnt sich 😊 Die Gastgeberin war stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Trotz Pech mit dem Wetter hatten wir einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt 🤩

Heel bijzonder huis! Origineel. Veel kunst in huis. Schitterend uitzicht. Alle faciliteiten aanwezig Schoon. Rustig dorpje. Zwembad was gezien de hoge temperaturen heerlijk! Omgeving is prachtig. Veel mooie wandelingen gemaakt. Fietsen gehuurd op 3 minuten loopafstand. Heel aardige mensen. Spreken Italiaans en beetje frans. Geweldige fietstocht voor mountainbikes gemaakt vanaf t huis. Electrische ondersteuning noodzakelijk. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Technisch mankement werd zeer adequaat en snel opgelost.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, Markus ist jederzeit erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist schön und stilvoll eingerichtet, die Aussicht ist atemberaubend. Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr toll, da man dadurch einen noch schöneren und unvergesslichen Ausblick über den Lago Maggiore hat und in einer sehr angenehm ruhigen Gegend ist. Markus ist sehr nett und half uns gerne mit den Anreise- und Abreisezeiten, da wir mit einem Baby im Urlaub waren; hierfür hatte er vollstes Verständnis. In der Unterkunft selbst gab es tolle Zeitschriften, die man lesen konnte und ein Ordner und mehrere Prospekte, die über die möglichen Aktivitäten in der Gegend informiert haben. Außerdem wurde alles in dem Ordner gut beschrieben (Müllentsorgung, Bedienungsanleitungen, Regelungen für die Abreise, etc.). Die Unterkunft können wir nur weiterempfehlen, vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

If I could give more stars I would. Me and my family loved it here, the photos do not do it justice at all. It’s absolutely stunning. It was clean, comfortable and just as described. We rented car and easily got to restaurants near by and the ferry. If we had questions we got prompt answers. Wonderful stay,

Die Unterkunft entsprach exakt den Fotos. Die Küche war extrem gut ausgestattet. Das Grundstück hat viele Möglichkeiten geboten sich aufzuhalten, man konnte also sowohl Sonne tanken als auch den Schatten auf der Terrasse genießen. In die Ortschaft selbst gelangt man am besten - wie von Stefania empfohlen - mit dem Bus, zu Fuß wäre es wohl eine zu weite Strecke. Stefania hat sehr schnell auf Nachrichten geantwortet und hilfreiche Empfehlungen ausgesprochen. Die Straße hat uns persönlich gar nicht gestört, es sollte einen aber bewusst sein, dass das Haus nicht abgelegen liegt. Alle Schlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer sind mit einer Klimaanlage ausgestattet (war nicht auf allen Fotos ersichtlich)

We had a fabulous 5 night stay in this beautiful house. The views from the terrace’s & balconies over Lake Maggiore were sublime. The kitchen was superbly kitted out, allowing us cook meals. The pool & pool house are the knock-out parts to this lovely house. One cool addition was the car turntable at the bottom of the drive. The restaurants in Suna are a 20min downhill walk. Very pretty village on the lake. Pallanza was gorgeous… Highly recommend a stay here! We celebrated two birthdays whilst we were here. A trip filled with lots of special memories.

Unser kürzlicher Familienurlaub in der Villa war einfach perfekt! Von dem Moment an, als wir ankamen, wurden wir von dem luxuriösen Komfort (ein beheizter Aussenpool und eine interne Sauna), der atemberaubenden Aussicht und der ruhigen Atmosphäre, die unseren Aufenthalt wirklich magisch machte, weggefegt. Sehr empfehlenswert für jeden, der eine luxuriöse Flucht, Ruhe und ein unvergessliches Erlebnis sucht. Wir können es kaum erwarten, zurückzukehren!

The house looks good like on a picture. When we checked in , it was not cleaned up after previous guests, bus Susanne was responsive and organize quickly a cleaning lady and refund us cleaning fee . I’m satisfy with a stay. The only minus that you can’t park right in front of the house, might be uncomfortable if you carrying heavy things. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.
