Located just outside of a small West Michigan town in a rural development, with a large Meijer grocery store nearby. New construction in our finished basement. You can access the basement through a private entrance. Kitchen has a toaster oven, hot plate and microwave. Refrigerator for your food. Wood-burning sauna is also available. We need a few hours notice if you would like to use it—heats up slower in the winter. Just a quick 25-30 min drive from Downtown Grand Rapids, close to Hwy 131.

The ground floor is a shop area and storage for my business which you must pass thru to enter the apartment. The main house is in front of the barn where we live. The property is 6 acres of fenced land , currently have chickens and two small horses a dog and a cat which you are free to interact with

The Coop is located between the main house and the large barn on a small hobby farm. This is a working farm with large and small animals, however, there are no hens in the guest house! During your stay, you are welcome to wander through the barn and visit all the animals. We do not have a TV, however, the internet works great!

Brook was super friendly. We got in late and I didn’t want to be rude and message her late but she noticed I had a difficult time getting into the correct garage door and she came outside. I did accidentally go in the wrong garage which also lead to the sunroom bc the handle on the correct door was lifting screws weren’t secured and I didn’t want to lift the garage door and break it. It was my fault I assumed the other garage door was the door. Brook was very nice about it even though I felt bad. She showed me and my son around even letting us visit the baby ducks, chickens and her 3 pups. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool or jacuzzi bc my son got extremely burnt from Michigan Adventures. It’s a beautiful quiet well kept place. Beautiful set up and we regret getting burnt and not being able to use the extras ( our fault and loss ). Also want to note the circle drive way is convenient as she does live on a higher traffic road. My teen loved the breakfast items she put out.

This was a very nice place, and we sat on the porch each morning and drank coffee and watched a Doe and her fawns in the nearby field. We also saw a pair of sandhill cranes with a chick foraging in the fields. The coffeemaker worked great and was stocked with several kcup choices. It was very quiet and we slept in after a late concert! We highly recommend this place.

Sherr & Bob thought of EVERYTHING. There are dozens of finishing touches that make you feel right at home. From the homemade (and DELICIOUS) muffins, to supplying a headband to pull your hair back while you wash your face it was a perfect and homey stay. Worth every penny to feel so surrounded by nature and cozy, while still so close to downtown GR!

Maureen’s home was a perfect driving distance from all of the places we were planning on visiting. Everything seemed to average between 10-15 minutes. Maureen was very hospitable as well. I highly recommend her location for anyone visiting Grand Rapids. Great price and great location.

Martin was responsive, accommodating, thorough and an energetic soul. His home is cozy with an amazing view out back. Had everything I needed for a quick stay. I chose his place based on his dog who was as sweet as pie. I was in town for a college visit and had a great time. Weather was perfect, ease of accessing the home/room was wonderful and the conversation (though short) was exciting and encouraging. Highly recommend Martin as a host and his home as a travel destination.
