Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Cape Charles

The hosts were INCREDIBLY responsive the entire stay with fast answers to any questions we had. They were very accommodating to all of our needs. The place was perfect for a short stay in Cape Charles - we only wish we had more time to enjoy the setting. Three Little Birds was very clean with a layout which suited us well. They allow pets so we were able to bring our pups along with us which really made the visit that much more special. The house rules book had all the information we needed including recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The place is well-situated in the neighborhood - very quaint! Our pups loved the neighborhood walks. Could not give a higher recommendation!

Nate was very responsive from booking , all the way through our stay. He was very flexible due to our circumstances and juggling vacation with 2 young children and 2 labradors. I would recommend this home to anyone with a family or pets as it offers the interior space that cape Charles historic homes lack while maintaining the same proximity to the town’s attractions.

Audrey’s quilted corners by the bay was perfect for a peaceful, relaxation vacation with my sister. We enjoyed being close to the quiet, peaceful beachfront and the bike/walking path into the state park. Highly recommend for a relaxing virginia beach experience. When we experienced issues with bugs entering the room (which is a very normal occurrence in the southern climate especially in the rain), Audrey quickly contacted us and eased our minds by spraying for bugs inside the room and outside the house. Audrey did everything she could to help. Be aware of the possibility of bugs given the nature of the climate and more wooded, residential area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Kristy’s place was so peaceful! If you are looking for a quiet space then this is the place for you! Everything from the location to the details in the home curated a calm environment. And if you need to hear a little noise Cape Charles is just a drive away! Also check out the lovely Chatham vineyard just down the road!

We loved loved loved The Bee House! We have stayed in several homes in Cape Charles, and this one was the best in every way. It was so comfortable and beautifully decorated with lots of windows. Large functional kitchen. Floor plan was exceptionally well thought out. There were so many well cared for beach items available for use. Enjoyed the private backyard and the swing and the fire pit too!! Very quiet location w friendly neighbors. Comfy mattresses, big front porch w lots of seating. We will definitely be coming back!

This place is always awesome! We come back to Eastern Shore every year for a reunion and this is the perfect place for those of us coming from Indiana. Toni is awesome and keeps a tidy home for us. We can’t wait to come again next year!

Rachel’s place was wonderful. She provided clear instructions and the house was so clean and welcoming. Only complaint is her bathrooms only had 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - if you plan on staying I’d advise to bring your own toiletries. Other than that everything was wonderful!

Glenn and Susan have a great place in a very cute town. Perfect for a quick get away to the Eastern Shore or if you need a place to stop for the night. Very clean and the bed was very comfy.

The Fish House is a beautiful and comfortable place to stay! My husband & I found it to be quite spacious for 2 people. The location was perfect; we were there from Sunday-Wednesday, and it was quiet and peaceful the whole time. It was conveniently located to Irvington, White Stone and Kilmarnock and all those towns have to offer! The A/C is brand new, and very effective against the Virginia heat and humidity. The kitchen had all the essentials for preparing food, and we appreciated the coffee & tea supplies that were provided! The bed is comfortable and we slept well. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the water. As a bird watcher, it was so relaxing to view the local wildlife with the binoculars provided. Michelle is a wonderful host! Her instructions are clear, and checking in and out was easy. She also answered all our questions promptly, and thoroughly. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway on the Northern Neck, stay at The Fish House!

Good place, nice and clean, well maintained as Airbnb type, freshly colored, several things to make place beautiful. Everything was there as described no surprises. I didn’t have to ask for anything during my stay, that made stay so much smooth.

Our stay here was fantastic! Very close to the beach which you can walk to, and only a short drive away from the waterfront that has great restaurants and lots to do! The place itself was clean, quiet and the perfect size for 2 people. If you’re looking for something with great amenities for the size, and in a great location this is it!

We had a great time! The host was very helpful during check-in. The place is very cozy and 10min from the beach. The neighbors were friendly too.

My adult son said this was the best airbnb pick I'd made over the years! We rested AND had fun switching between pickleball, basketball, putting and kayaking. Kitchen was the perfect size and had all the basics for cooking a full meal. Beds were comfortable, roomy and every room had great views of the water and property. We loved everything about our stay

My husband and I visited Steff's AirBnB on our Honeymoon and were beyond pleased! She provided so much for her guests, including eggs and bacon for breakfast!! Her space was so clean and welcoming. It was the perfect, quiet spot for us. I found the bed to be a little too firm for my personal taste, but I still got a decent enough night sleep and I will absolutely be back if we come down to Williamsburg again. The backyard was so adorable and peaceful! I only wish the weather would have been better to enjoy the fire pit and smores kit!! Thank you Steff for having us!

Immaculately clean, comfortable, peaceful. Exactly as expected, exactly what we needed. Bernadette was friendly and welcoming while still allowing us privacy and space. Hint: if you use the kayaks and pull them on the caddies to the launch site, I recommend using the cinch straps to keep the kayaks from bouncing off on uneven surfaces. Would definitely stay here again. Jealous of Bernadette's beautiful home!

We had a wonderful stay here! The condo was clean and well appointed, and the location couldn’t be beat! Carol was very responsive and helpful as well. We will be back for sure!

Gorgeous ocean views, great location, the balcony was the favorite spot the entire stay! Comfortable furniture, nice little cozy condo! Highly recommend the stay if you’re in the area!

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

I honestly couldn’t get this place a better review. You get exactly what you expect and it is priced well for the area, location, and Hadley is a great host. The host is very responsive and communicates well of her expectations and fulfilling yours.

We had a great time at Above it All! The location can’t be beat. Right on the main street in downtown. It’s just a short walk to the beach, shops, and eateries. The condo was clean and as pictured. We loved having dinner on the rooftop as we watched the sunset. The view is amazing! The hosts were very responsive and helpful, and they made the check out process so easy. We had a great stay!

Book this condo! It was the cleanest AirBnB I’ve ever rented but was still warm and comfortable. You can tell the condo is well taken care of. The neighborhood was charming. The pool was closed but the beach within the community was nearby and quiet. We were a short drive from Cape Charles town center and parking was a breeze. The host was incredibly accommodating; her restaurant recommendations were spot on. I wish we could’ve stayed longer!
