Monthly Rentals in Cape Horn

My time with Susan was exactly what I needed. After leaving a stressful job that took a toll on my mental health, I needed to get away from the city. Being at the farm with my dog in tow was exactly what my soul needed. Thank you to Susan for the wonderful hospitality!

This was indeed a cozy cabin. It was everything we needed for his special trip-quiet, comfortable, and conveniently located near my sister’s school. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and we enjoyed discovering the unique furnishings and antique knick knacks around the home. I also thought the board games were a nice touch. Manya was very responsive and was able to accommodate an urgent request. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We absolutely loved our stay! House was clean, comfortable bed and couch, had all utensils you need, toaster oven worked great, had an air fry setting and bake setting too. Pinball machine was lots of fun! The views from your own private balcony were gorgeous! They had some great rental options for water toys. The walk to the lake was not far, but the hill to get to and from is pretty steep! It would be hard to carry your own paddle boards or big ice chest. But there are options to get your large item stuff around. I suggest asking the host for details prior to packing. The post did say grill, but there is no grill, I’m sure they will be fixing but, plan food accordingly. All in all, such a GORGEOUS property. Very friendly and responsive, and we can’t wait to go back!

Peggy is an amazing host! She was helpful, responsive and joy to interact with. She was very welcoming to me and my dog Cuban. Very dog friendly place which was nice to have. The place is peaceful and tons of room to room around with your pet and different spaces to relax in. We will definitly come back!
