Beautiful home, great location and had everything we needed for our stay. We will be back!

We only had a 1 night stay at Jennifer's place as we made a cross country move from Texas to Michigan with our dogs. Her home was exactly what we needed to let the dogs run in the backyard after being in the car for 14 hours. It was clean, cute, and comfy. I highly recommend a stay here!

We used this for a few days of spring turkey hunting, very quiet and peaceful. Worked out just as it should have!!! Would definitely use again…. Thanks Joe!

Another great stay at the eagles nest. This was our second time staying here and it was just as great as the first time. Lots of space, great for entertaining. Richard was a great host and very easy to deal with. Very pleased, will stay again.

Such a wonderful place to stay!! My husband had a two week work trip in the Cape area and this was the perfect home away from home for him to stay. It had all the amenities he needed in a peaceful area to relax in the evening times. Our host was so very attentive with very quick responses to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking again for next year.

Pristinely clean. Many restaurants deliver through apps but it's not walkable to anywhere. Great place for a stopover on a long road trip! Very quiet neighborhood. The fence has some gaps which might allow small dogs to escape, but large or well-trained dogs would be fine.

If you are looking for a nice old house in a neat little town this is it. We had our family visit us from the area and it was a perfect place to host from. The kitchen was well stocked and made cooking a breeze. Also the host was very responsive to any questions we had about the house and the area. We will definitely stay here again if we will be in the area!

This house is amazing. Breakfast while overlooking the horse pasture, dinner out on the back deck. Everything in the house was spotless! The shower was so great. It had good water pressure! The beds were so comfy, I got the best sleep here. Better than I've gotten in a long time! The pool was clean. My kids enjoyed it, even though it was chilly out! They also enjoyed the games in the garage. My kids loved the popcorn machine, what a fun touch! The location is perfect. It's out in the country, but close enough to other towns that a run to the store doesn't take all day. It's very close to several Rend Lake Day Use Areas, which makes going out fun and easy! 10/10 Will stay again.

We had an enjoyable weekend! My family and myself loved the camper and surrounding areas. The camper was filled with everything we needed. Kevin communication was amazing. Im planning my next trip! Thank you!

I decided last minute to see the 2024 eclipse in 100% totality. I drove all the way from Colorado to Marion, IL. All hotels were booked & really expensive. Then I saw Cassie's camping spot. I'm a solo female traveler with a dog & not much of a Camper so I was a little nervous, but this location was so easy to find, and felt very safe. Cassie even provided hotdogs and marshmallows for everyone. This was the perfect location to see the 2024 eclipse in 100% totality. I'll remember this always!

This quaint and cozy place was a perfect stay for our road trip. The patio was a great spot to enjoy dinner! The weather wasn’t the best but we made the best of it and did enjoy the pool for a bit.

i booked this camper for my boyfriends birthday , we had a great time ! the area is peaceful and quiet . The lake is beautiful. The view from the pool is beautiful. We had a great time and are planning on coming here more often !!!!!!!

We chose to take this trip for our daughters birthday weekend a perfect setting to get away and have the option to camp, fish, swim and able to relax around a peaceful fire while eating smores. The camper had everything we needed very nice and spacious. The beds were very comfy. The area was nice and quiet. We caught fish from the dock. The family was welcoming to the pool area. And cant forget the friendly Pugley. He was for sure a bonus he loves to play fetch.

We stayed at Cassi’s for the 2024 eclipse. The location was so peaceful. We brought our 32’ camper and she said “go anywhere in the back” so we set up in view of the pond. There were 8 others guests in tents. They were all so friendly. The kids loved playing with the dogs and kept talking about Aero and Zep all day after left. (I just realized that those dogs are probably named after Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin) Next time there’s an eclipse that cuts across Cassi’s yard you should definitely stay here! Or if you just want a nice place that’s not far from home.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and furnishings were comfortable and clean. The location was a little hard to find the first time, but it was later at night when we arrived. Once we became familiar with the area it was not a problem. We loved that it was not in town, but was close enough that it took less than 10 minutes to get where we needed. Thanks for the hospitality!

This was a lovely weekend getaway location, very close to some of southern Illinois' natural wonders! The cabin provided a private and cozy space to stay, cook, and relax. We would love to visit again someday!

Staying at The Bitty House was amazing! Our girls trip here went perfect. We were looking for a peaceful relaxing getaway and thats exactly what we got! Also, the Caramel Brulee coffee was delicious! ☕️

We had a group of 15 and this home was absolutely perfect for our stay! There’s a ton of gathering space, especially in the living room where the large couch and footrest easily accommodated everyone. The multiple dining areas upstairs also made mealtimes easy and comfortable. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked — we cooked every meal for all 15 of us without any issues. Having the extra fridge downstairs was a huge plus for storing all our food and drinks. The outdoor area is truly picturesque. We loved lounging on the deck, soaking in the peaceful surroundings, and listening to the local wildlife. All of the bedrooms were spacious, and it was a huge bonus that everyone upstairs had their own bathroom. The home had everything we needed and more — highly recommend for large groups!

Excellent location. Very private and secluded. Surrounded by water and very beautiful. House was as described. Very clean. Host was very responsive as well. Food options are very limited in the area but that’s not on the host. This is a beautiful property.
