Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Caroga

Where do I begin... I've stayed at numerous Airbnb properties, but this one stands out as one of the most beautiful settings I've encountered. The views of the lake are breathtaking, and having direct access to it was a huge bonus. We made full use of the canoes and kayaks provided, enjoying them every day. My husband, an avid fisherman, was thrilled with the lake, calling it one of the best freshwater fishing spots he's ever visited. The grounds are impeccably maintained and offer plenty of privacy. Inside, the house is both comfortable and well-appointed. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, utensils, and small appliances you could need. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the linens are of high quality. The furniture is tasteful and inviting. Karen was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and responsive. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. I would return in a heartbeat and recommend this place without hesitation.

Amo's house was beautiful, comfortable and easy to be in. He was very responsive to any questions and extremely accommodating. The grounds are ample for the children to enjoy in many ways. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for our large family and everyone was happy. We hope to return next year.

Perfect stay! Everything was clean and nicely decorated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Paula was quick to respond to messages. Her husband was there to greet us and he was very welcoming and friendly. Fresh bread! Yummmy. I would definetly recommend staying here.

Beautiful spot, modern and clean house. We loved the hot tub, super clean. Nicely designed and decorated house, great views. Bring bug spray if you stay in June, the black flies are intense. Great hosts, would definitely stay here again.

Lady Viola is a super charming Victorian home. We were very pleased with our stay. The home was clean, spacious and accurately described. The window AC in the bedrooms was a pleasant surprise as the weather was much warmer than expected. The location is super as you can walk to anything downtown. While the landscaping is a bit grown up the yard is very spacious, and the neighborhood was quiet. The host is very responsive. Great short stay for business. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Sandy’s Moose River House was a wow wow wow stay for us !! Romantic 62nd birthday trip. The view from the living room window is like looking out a boat window—the water and wildlife are that close up and personal. Loons, cheery house wren, bombardier hummingbirds, a wood duck and her tiny babies parading by, and flowers bursting everywhere. Yummy outdoor hot tub, comfy covered back deck, lots of dishes and cookware, great linens, and easy coke and go access. Easy area to take peaceful walks. We went to Nick’s Lake Stare Park to hike around the lake—a glorious hike I’ve been doing since I was a child. Eating at Walt’s Diner (local vibe) and Frankie’s (giant Italian portions) was wonderful as always. Sandy was very warm and welcoming, without ever for a minute being intrusive. Perfect balance. On our list of top 3 Airbnb stays ever, in 14 years of being guests all over the world. We will be back !!

Great hosts that make you feel right at home. We were greeted with some extra special touches that we were not expecting during our stay, that was very thoughtful. The space is exactly as pictured and very comfortable. We would definitely come back

The apartment was very comfortable. The fresh eggs and other breakfast items were a great surprise. The location was perfect for let us get away from Dreams Park between games. Our daughters had a great time feeding the animals and jumping on the trampoline.

The games played great, the decor was packed with personality, and the vibe was peaceful yet fun. Quiet, quaint location with a few great walkable restaurant options nearby. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and respectful of our space. We’d absolutely stay again!

We had an excellent experience staying here. The apartment was spacious and clean, and was perfect for being a home base for attending a concert at SPAC this weekend. Juliann was easy to work with, always responsive to any questions I had after booking. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

Had an excellent stay at Keith’s place! Everything was clean and as described. Keith even reached out to us to let us know we can check in early if we wanted. It’s literally 2mins from Skidmore which is the reason we were there and I couldn’t recommend it more. Will be back when we are in town again.

Very clean house and comfortable bed. We enjoyed the amenities and making fires. Our dog loved running around the property and we enjoyed being close to town for grocery shopping, cafe access, and hiking trails nearby.

We found that the place was exactly as described. Everything was very good. We loved your recliners out on the back, looking out the sliding glass doors overlooking the lake. It was very peaceful calm. We were able to get one fire in on Friday night. At the campfire was so peaceful and quiet and serene. Looking across the lake at the cabins with their lights on was just a beautiful relaxing time. We want to thank Barry and Shirley very much and I’m about 99% sure that we will be back again. We stayed at Paula’s place and it was great! First of all, the location. It’s about 25-30 minutes drive from Lake George, located in a beautiful spot surrounded by trees and nature. Easy to find if you follow your GPS. Paula was super responsive and really cared about us checking in as easy as possible. She welcomed us personally, showed the place, explained all amenities and even gave us a good info about local places to eat and see. The place itself is a cozy, rustic and comfortable house. Don’t expect anything fancy or high tech, it’s a pure village-like getaway experience. Very quiet area, and Paula lives just a few meters away, so she’s always around if you have questions or need help with anything. Kitchen was clean, although I wish we had more utensils, but it’s just me speaking, someone who’s crazy about cooking. Bedroom is great and comfy. WiFi is strong inside the house and a few steps away from the house. Overall it’s a great place to stay and we will definitely come back!

The home was very beautiful and a warm and cozy stay, we really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit and lounging in the living room with a nice fire going, one of the best listings we’ve had thank you so much for the stay!

We had a lovely stay at the cabin, it was truly the perfect getaway. We had parking and room to turn around, the house was secluded and private but still very close to town like 3 minute drive. The house was spotless, all the amenities were as listed and Ashley was super proactive and responsive. We felt right at home and I haven’t relaxed that well in years. We would love to come back if they will have us in the future!

We booked this hidden gem to stay in while my son played baseball in Cooperstown for the week. This is the first time in my life that I have stayed somewhere that felt as much like home as my own home. It is a magical place with lush greenery, a beautiful peaceful pond, the sounds of wildlife while you relax on the front porch, a comfortable bed and couches, and very close to anything you need in Cooperstown. Dreams park is only about a 10 minute drive and downtown Cooperstown is less than that. Mark has this home stocked with anything you need and it is decorated to feel so cozy and special. We traveled from NC for this trip and I would travel this far again just to have a vacation at this beautiful cabin. We used the paddle boat, took walks through the woods, and enjoyed the tv with a variety of watching options. The internet/wifi is fantastic. I have zero complaints about our stay and could honestly go on and on. Mark was an amazing host! He immediately makes you feel welcome!

Property was exactly as described and illustrated. Great property. Hosts were responsive. Would highly recommend for a couple looking to unplug in a cabin in the woods with a great kitchen and fireplace.
