Host was extremely sweet and always responsive. She worked with our schedule and was extremely flexible! Great for dogs, the fenced in yard was a huge bonus! The house was so cute and cozy. We had a great time staying there.

This house was very nice and Mike has kept it well stocked and clean. Having a washer and dryer was very nice. We had a nice stay in the Iron River area and this house worked out well for us.

I was flying solo, but I could imagine this cottage being perfect for a family of 4. Nice balcony facing the lake (sunset). A grill at the ready. 100 feet from its own pier. A few short yards to the roped off swim area. Stanley Lake is crystal clear. The shoreline and swim area are completely weed free, unlike many other lakes in the area. Great swimming for the kids. inside is a cool wood burning stove that is gas fired and looks better than wood burning. It's the main heat for the cabin, so it's controlled by a thermostat. the bedrooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. No problem sleeping there. Plenty of counter space in the kitchen, and fully equipped with everything you'll need. 10 mins from iron river, so groceries and supplies are a breeze. I have t-mobile, which has zero signal, so I paired my phone with the wifi and was back in business. nice tv with plenty of viewing options, and several games if the weather isn't cooperating. Great Place for solo or family of 4
