House holiday rentals in Castelluccio

We loved our stay in Sara's rustic farmhouse cottage with its glorious views across the valley, little hill towns on the other side and a beautiful scenic drive across to Orvieto on one side (about 1 hour) and Todi on the other. The pool was heavenly. We only had swimming weather for the first week but we were in every day. When the mornings were cold, I also enjoyed sitting by the pool in the morning sun, reading and drinking my coffee. The garden is also beautiful and very quiet. It was so peaceful here - and what a dream to have the pool to ourselves. Sara lives in the other half of the house with Simone, her partner, and Eugene, the dog - but we never saw them (they have their own entrance) except when they were cleaning the pool. The house is full of art and ceramics, some of which are Sara's own, and we even had lunch in Todi at Simone's restaurant. Yes, the road is rough, but so are all roads in Umbria. We have a mini and the road was not a problem.

Wow! What an incredible property. We loved our time staying at ‘the tower’. It is a beautiful setting among the olives and vines on a hilltop. The surrounding area is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to local vineyards and restaurants. Only one caveat: the WiFi is very weak and not suitable for video calls.

Beautiful house, scenic and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen and laundry. Lots of games and things to do as a family. Maybe the best part was having pizza night with Ana and Franco which was arranged by Alberto. Just loved this spot!

Adelaide’s place is very peaceful -- you can hear the birds chirping in the garden and there's a comfortable hammock a few steps from the front door and an outdoor shower nearby -- and yet it's only a few minutes from Atigliano. Important for me: Adelaide is a dog lover and was very kind and helpful with my dog, Mocha. The only small drawback is that the indoor shower is tiny. I'm tall with an average build and could hardly fit in it. But the lovely outdoor shower (which provides privacy) made up for it and is a treat on a hot day.

Pictures don’t do the property and spectacular view justice. We had an amazing family holiday, our host couldn’t have been more accommodating, even leaving us kind gifts. Location was perfect (close enough to town and the airport but feeling secluded), having a bathroom each was great, and again that view was stunning. It all made for a perfect family trip :)

Adele is the best host we have had in our history of AirBNBing. She helped us when we got stranded, she was proactive with her communications, and extremely friendly. She is an angel, and we truly enjoyed staying at her property. The property itself was gorgeous, spacious, with stunning views, super clean, and had more than required amenities. Overall, we loved our stay and we would return to Adele 100% given another chance. THANK YOU!

Leonardo was an extremely assertive and friendly host who met all our needs The house was perfectly clean, furnished with excellent furniture and equipped with every comfort for a relaxing vacation Highly recommended accommodation!! Immediately upon arrival, we were greeted by Fausto. With a translation app, everything was communicated to us. I think his friendly face makes everyone happy.😀 An atmospheric enclosed garden where our 2 large dogs had a wonderful time. Very nice that there was air conditioning available. The bed was great! Nothing was missing. Oh yes, the cheese slicer😀😀, but that is often missing abroad😀. The house is located within a small complex that could be closed. The sea can be reached within 7 minutes by car. It's not busy at all this time of year. We had 30 degrees and blue sky for 1 week. Fausto responds almost immediately to your questions. We visited: caves, fano, Loreto, Torre di palme and the sea. We would recommend this house!

We stayed here for a long weekend in May The environment and location are beautiful, in the green Umbrian hills and away from traffic and noise. We had some difficulty finding access but Bianca gave us phone support. The house has everything you need for your stay. I suggest bringing some food supplies because the house is a little far from the town center, about 2 km, but there is a bakery that can also be reached on foot, although not very close

I cannot think of a better place to spend my time in the surroundings! Monia was a great host and the place looks beautiful and spotless

Vincenzo and Tracey were incredible hosts for us adults and our toddlers. Their hospitality, top notch! The home and views will truly leave you breathless. If you like the countryside, this is the place to be. Beautiful Pineto beach is just 30 mins away. Lovely wineries within 30 - 45 mins. If you appreciate nature and beautiful mountain drives + going to the beach, you’ve found it. 💕🙏

What a breath of fresh air. We loved Rome but everyone should take a break on their journey and come stay a few days to unwind, drink wine and smell the Jasmin in this beautiful place. Stefania’s place is much better than the photos because the love and care Stefania puts into every detail only comes across in person. Great for a group if you are lucky enough to snag a couple units.

Beautiful accommodation with Tuscan flair! The communication went smoothly and the hostess was extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

Lovely apartment in a quiet little village just a few minutes away from the motorway. We used it as a break between Ravenna and Naples but had we known that it was such a nice place we would have spent two nights here and explored the area. Absolutely positive experience to be repeated, enchanting place for tranquility and for long walks immersed in nature together with our two furry friends welcomed in the property without any problem. The host is very kind and helpful, the property is really very nice, the accommodation is very clean and equipped with many comforts and the presence of an impeccable swimming pool makes the stay even more pleasant, especially in the warmer periods. We had a really great time and I sincerely thank Mrs. Maddalena for the welcome and for the sweet thought she left for us on our arrival.

Maria Teresa and her son were great tips for catering, as for visits to villages (but there are also plenty of museums to visit), the sublime hikes to do in this area... in short, great tips. Unfortunately over a week we couldn't visit everything but we caught our eyes already:) it would have taken us more than a week on site. The welcome, just like our departure will have been very warm with Maria Teresa who we thank very much for allowing us to discover this beautiful region! The house is secluded and at night there is a masterful calm, this house is ideal for relaxing and refreshing. The house complies with the photos of the site, the olive grove is sublime. No light pollution at night either, a real joy. In short, only beautiful images printed in our retinas. We had a great time. Thanks again and maybe see you next time:)

Wonderful place, felt very welcome!

Spello is a lovely city, but small enough to feel comfortable in right away. The apartment has lovely views, a nice terrace and is a few minutes from the sites, restaurants and stores. Also very near the station for excursions. Roberto is a very considerate host, and it was a lovely stay.

Sara and Salvatore's place is a jewel with every detail. We really appreciated all the little attention given to their guests. The view is incredible and has priceless tranquility. Hosts are available. We hope to be back very soon!

We had a great stay at Lamberto’s! Amazing place, everything was there and even more. Amazing views from the terrace. Real close to hikes and L’aquila and Gran Sasso (Corte Grande and Monte L’aquila). In real life the place is even nicer. Lamberto is quick with communciation ans recommendations!

A wonderful house, with a truly fantastic view! The reception by Beci was particularly hospitable. Kitchen was equipped with all necessities and the shower had a good jet. We had a wonderful time.

This is a lovely holiday location. Beautiful views and wonderful people. Clean and tidy. We enjoyed stunning sunsets and long ours at the pool. There are three apartments and the space is well organized so that everybody can feel comfortable. The only problem was the internet wich came and went as it pleased but it didn't spoil the whole experience. Grazie mille!

Luisa and her mum were amazing. Kept in touch on our arrival day and were waiting in garden when we arrived. We were shown around and everything explained. To be honest, I don’t think the photos do it justice, the place is outstanding. The views are incredible and so peaceful on an evening to sit on terrace after a busy day sightseeing and a refreshing swim. I would highly recommend and we hope to visit again in the future.
