The Cheesehouse, belonging to Tamsin was the most beautiful Airbnb we have had the pleasure to stay in. Firstly, the communication before our break was timely and responsive. Check in was wonderfully simple and everything explained to us by our host who understood the need for a break away from everyday life! The house itself was beautiful. Clean, but homely; simple but had all the essentials and some luxuries. 😊We stayed on one of the hottest weekends, 2025 has yet to offer and the house was pleasantly cool. The seating areas were plentiful - depending on my mood and the time of day, I could choose between a sofa, an armchair, inside table, outside table or a garden chair. I was spoiled for choice. The bedrooms were clean, comfortable and had a lovely breeze coming through with the main bedroom's triple aspect windows. Mere is a wonderful town. I would say it is more of a village but Wikipedia would disagree with me. Lovely pubs and shops around ten minutes walk away.

Lavinia and her husband were amazing hosts. I stayed for one night with my cousin and our 2 elderly mothers on the way down to Weymouth. The cottage was lovely, with everything that we needed. The location was easy to find with Lavinia's instructions, and it was a perfect place to stay, with a beautiful sunset. Would be a great place for a week to use as a base. We would definitely stay again. Thankyou. X

Our stay was absolutely magical! The place exceeded all our expectations — it was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect: peaceful, close to nature, and ideal for creating unforgettable memories with the family.

We had an amazing 50th birthday party at Sophie’s house. This is a gorgeously characterful property with the most amazing gardens, 15 mins walk into Glasto and 10 mins to the torr. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook. We had an early check in and late checkout for no extra cost and communication was brilliant throughout.

We fell in love with the house , location and facilities as soon as we arrived. It had everything we needed , the children loved it , from playing tennis, skittles to bar football and stories by the wood burner before bed. Everything was there for us, a separate table in the games room for arts and crafts and games to lovely comfortable furniture outside looking across to the sheep , the children loved the opportunity to be able to walk around the field with the sheep, with one of them saying "this is the best holiday ever" and another saying " this is the best day of my whole life". Thank you Rachel for creating a perfect holiday home where we have made some amzing family memories,

Stayed for a weekend pre wedding catch up, easy to get in, host even popped over to introduce and answer any queries. Great property, exactly as described with great little touched like milk, coffee pods, juice, and other stuff to settle you in. Great location that was so relaxing with a nice hot tub included in the price so none of the extra price per use like some on here add on. Lovely bedding that was so comfy and whole place was easy to relax in. If there was one downside, and it’s a big if, then it would be you have to drive to get places as it’s so secluded. But secluded and relaxing away from things is why you’d book here! Would definitely book again and why I gave 5 stars across the board. Short version is amazing hosts, amazing location, amazing property!

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

We had a lovely week at Alpine Grove touring park. Clear communication from Keith. The space was very clean and had all facilities needed for our stay. Our toddler also really enjoyed the swimming pool! Would definitely stay again. Loved it

Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at. Dianne and Stephen were responsive and so welcoming to their beautiful home. The space was comfortable and clean and lovely and light. Our little private decking area was perfect for the children and the dog and had beautiful, peaceful views over the garden. Having access to the pool was amazing, even on a cloudy day we spent a lot of time in there with the children as it was lovely and warm. The garden is beautiful and it was nice to be able to wonder around.

Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

We've just returned from another wonderful stay at this property in Long Sutton. As returning guests, we were delighted to find it just as perfect as we remembered. The location is stunning, offering peace and tranquility, and the property itself is immaculate. This time, we particularly enjoyed the pool and sauna – a real treat! We can't wait to return. Many thanks to George and Gill for the amazing hospitality.

This is our first Airbnb stay, also our first stay taking our dog. Having read and turned down a number of other Airbnb places the ducks wing seemed to fit the bill (no pun intended). The garden is lovely and secure, the rooms are extremely quirky which we both liked, our dog loved it. We didn't make best use of the many facilities including the pool, BBQ etc. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the countryside. As I've said our first experience with Airbnb but we were very impressed.

Tamsins home was pristine well thought out and everything was quality there are so many thoughtful touches around the kitchen and around the house and the log burner was glorious Tamsin was so accommodating and helpful if there were any questions. She offered myself and my friend a longer stay at a really good price I will definitely be back in the future. It was a blessing Thankyou

Lovely and peacefu,l we loved our break as did our 2 dogs Archie and Reggie, very safe and secure garden loved the hot tub. Recommend a visit to Dunster lovely place with great castle and grounds.

Should you be heading down Glastonbury way I cannot recommend highly enough that you consider staying at Caroline’s Hut in West Pennard. As fairly seasoned travelers, we use AIRBNB on every trip, and The Hut takes the prize for overall outstanding everything. From the cleanliness, clear communication and outstanding comfort, to the sheer taste of the overall home and its surroundings, we were blown away, and so happy to have made the choice that we did. We highly, highly recommend Caroline’s Hut.

Had a wonderful solo stay with my dog at Dawn’s place. The cottage was cozy, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. Great local walks right from the door, a friendly dog-welcoming pub nearby, and a real sense of peace. Felt safe and relaxed the whole time —would absolutely return. Thanks for having us Dawn!

Thank you dearest Caroline for your kindness, warmth and hospitality. We stayed for 5 nights at the Summerhouse recently. The Summerhouse is pristine and picturesque. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Real Garden of Avalon can be felt here (away from the nearby crowds and tourism) as I gazed to the Tor in the distance, being surrounded by Apple Trees, Pink, White and Yellow Roses. I enjoyed very much walking my Son around Caroline's Gardens that she immaculately preserves and tends to. I hold that precious time there in my Heart.

Great proactive and helpful communication with Paul from our initial enquiry and throughout our stay. A beautiful cottage in an excellent location. Cottage was very clean and well maintained, and matched the description and photos in the listing. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and a great shower. Good internet. The generous welcome basket was a great addition. Garden provided a safe haven for our Jack Russell’s to roam carefree with lovely seating areas for us to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Private parking area with access to the garden and cottage was good. Easy access to footpaths direct from outside the cottage was great for dog walks without having to use the car - beautiful countryside to explore right on the doorstep. Excellent choice of pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, takeaways etc within easy reach. Would happily recommend Paul’s place to family & friends, and very much hope to make a return visit ourselves.

We had a wonderful stay at Higher Blannicombe! The cottage is beautifully kitted out and has everything you could need for your stay. The cookies on arrival were a lovely touch and we really enjoyed the other free snacks! The views from the cottage are amazing and we loved waking up to the rolling countryside. Phil was a fab host and made check in and check out super easy. By far the best Airbnb we've ever stayed at!

The most beautiful surroundings for a long weekend escape. The outdoor bath and shower were a firm favourite. The place smelt incredible from the moment we walked in, like walking into a spa and just instantly relaxing. Really private and so beautifully done! We absolutely loved our time here - thank you! Lyme Regis was really great - never been before but what a lovely seaside town.. great recommendations, golden cap walk followed by pizza at the anchor inn, and the beautiful walk through the woodlands into Lyme Regis, is a must! Couldn’t recommend this place more 😊
