Renovated farmhouse with barn anno 1901, used to be known as the "Little Pastory". The name of the B&B “in the Land of Kalk” refers to the various lime ovens nearby. An old Kundersteen quarry from bygone times, is 200m from our B&B. Voerendaal is the gate of the Limburg hills. The walks are magnificent. For cyclists, the routes are a Walhalla. The Amstel Gold Race and Limburgs Mooiste are one of the most well-known cycling rounds that come past our backyard.

Cottage 'Bedje bij Jetje'

"Bedje bij Jetje" is a double accommodation. You will stay in a completely renovated cottage, with a spacious loft furnished as a bedroom. There is a kitchen equipped with appliances including a Senseo machine. Unfortunately, we will no longer serve breakfast starting July 1, 2018. However, in the kitchen there are all the amenities to prepare your own breakfast, lunch or dinner! There is also, of course, a bathroom with toilet, sink and a lovely shower!

We had a wonderful time staying at this rustic tiny home. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and cozy, offering the perfect escape. We especially loved the sunsets and the breathtaking views, they were truly unforgettable. Although the walk to the city center is a bit of a distance (about 20 minutes), it was actually quite enjoyable. It offered a great opportunity to take in the surroundings and relax before heading into town. Simon was very helpful with responses and very friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. While there was a slight delay in getting a response, it wasn’t significant and didn’t impact our experience at all. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene retreat with beautiful views!

What a wonderful stay!! The surroundings are so beautiful. Mireille gave the perfect tip to walk through the nature reserve to the center of Valkenburg. We have done this several times and it is not boring. Mountain biking through the forests and landscape of Valkenburg/Limburg is truly breathtakingly beautiful! It was in one word: Fantastic!!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very large, very comfortable, and has a big bathroom and shower as well as a large, nice kitchen, and even a living room that was spacious. The location was difficult for me to find as the navigation system on our car did not inform us that you can’t drive a car right to the hotel/apartment. I was perhaps careless and did not read the details regarding parking. Perhaps it could be clearer for guests to see that it’s off site parking. My bad for not reading this sooner. Other than that, terrific place.

François is an excellent, helpful, friendly host, who is there for you. The accommodation is in a beautiful, central place in South Limburg, from which you can make various excursions. The accommodation is spacious and well cared for and is located in a quiet area. In the communal garden you can have a drink or read a book in the sun. You can park along the main road where there is always space. In the morning you can have breakfast on your own terrace or wake up with a coffee in the sun. Recommended!
