Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Cecina

From the moment we were greeted by Isabella, Massimo and their son, to the moment we said goodbye we felt right at home. The house is well located. It was nice to leave the hustle of the old city and retreat to the expansive peaceful terrace of the house for an “aperitivo” before dinner. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well after long days of touring. One of our favorite things was collecting water from the town spring, which was just a few doors away.

We had a truly wonderful stay – for all five of us! The house and the outdoor area were absolutely beautiful, even better than in the pictures. Everything was spotless, charming, well maintained, and well equipped. The garden was stunning, and the whole place felt peaceful and private. Ilaria and Francesco were the kindest hosts – helpful, responsive, and incredibly welcoming. We’re already thinking about coming back for a summer holiday (the pool and AC are perfect!). Great location for day trips to Pisa and Florence, and there are lovely restaurants nearby. It was an amazing birthday trip and really good value. Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

What a fantastic place and location. Tranquil, stunning views, located perfectly to explore the local area. Lots of character; quaint and quirky. As hosts Isabella and Claudio were amazing. Always helpful, friendly and very responsive when we asked them about places to go to. Apartment was located at the very top of the village and provided us with stunning views whenever we ate outside. Fabulous BBQ area and a great choice of outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

Tommaso ist ein netter und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Bei der Begrüssung hat er uns einen Korb mit Produkten aus seinem Bioladen geschenkt. Er hat sich sehr bemüht, dass es uns Gästen in seinem Haus gut geht. Er hat uns die Gasflaschen für das Warmwasser gewechselt und auf Wunsch die Heizung eingestellt und mehrmals nach unserem Befinden gefragt. Das Ferienhaus hat uns sehr gefallen, eine top Lage direkt am Meer. Die grosse Terasse und der Essbereich hat uns zum Verweilen eingeladen. Im Haus ist alles zweckmässig im Landhausstil eingerichtet, die Küche klein aber fein, die Schlafzimmer und das Bad genügten unseren Ansprüchen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und konnten unsere Ferien geniessen.Wir kommen gerne wieder nach Castelioncello. Danke Tommaso für alle deine Bemühungen und dein angagietes Auftreten. Wir waren heuer zum zweiten mal bei Maria und Massimo und kommen sicher nächstes Jahr wieder. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ruhe ,die wunderschöne Natur und Landschaft herrlich! Massimo ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Danke und auf baldiges Wiedersehen!

Die Unterkunft war einfach super. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt und alle unsere Bedürfnisse wurden ohne zu fragen direkt erkannt. Kaum schien die Sonne standen zwei Liegen parat. Die beiden waren sehr herzlich und man sieht mit wieviel Liebe zum Detail sie das Haus saniert haben. Wirklich einzigartig. Die Unterkunft liegt sehr idyllisch umgeben von viel Natur. Ein Traum, um einfach mal abzuschalten.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder bei Maria buchen. Wir sind mit kleinem Kind gereist und alles war top und bestens ausgestattet. Maria war immer sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und gut erreichbar. Alles war genauso wie beschrieben und erwartet. Der private Pool hat das ganze für uns abgerundet, es war herrlich! Klare Weiterempfehlung!

Unsere Rettung in der Not! ❤️ Nachdem wir ein Airbnb Aufenthalt kurzfristig abbrechen mussten aufgrund der Umstände hat Alessia uns zu später Stunde nach 22:00 noch mit unseren Kindern und Hund aufgenommen. Eine komplette Abwicklung innerhalb einer Stunde! Angekommen mit einem komischen Gefühl ob ja alles gut sein würde und 5 Minuten später wie zu Hause gefühlt ❤️! Alles schön und modern mit Rustikalem Touch eingerichtet, TOP sauber und immer zur Hilfe bei Rückfragen. Ein spieleparadies für unseren fast 2 jährigen gab es auch, er war garnicht mehr weg zu bekommen. 😄 Das Anwesen ist in Alleinlage in einer Traumhaften Umgebung mit wundervollen Sonnenuntergängen. Parkplatz vor Ort auf dem Grundstück und alles liebevoll angelegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder👨‍👩‍👦‍👦🐶 Familie Göschl aus Heidelberg- Deutschland

Lovely place! Amazing roof terrace that we really enjoyed. The local beach restaurant where you get a small discount served excellent food.

Please do yourself a favour and book this place! Franco and his family are amazing hosts, the appartment looks even better in person and it is perfect for a romantic getaway. We had questioned ourselves whether it would be a downside to live together with more people on the property, but this turned out to be more of an advantage than anything. It felt like having very friendly neighbours, and we never felt like we had less personal space as a result. On top of this, the neighbouring towns are great for day trips and restaurants. So take the opportunity to enjoy this airbnb gem :) (someone mentioned the internet did not work, but this is fixed now)

Maravilloso lugar!!! Un alojamiento que parece salido de un libro de cuentos .Muchos detalles que hacen a la comodidad y al cariño de Elba y Fabrizio a su tierra. Desde las atenciones al recibir , sus aromaticas para uso de los pasajeros, una pileta impecables y todos los juegos de jardin y para niños.Una forma maravillosa de conocer La Toscana. A pesar de la barrera idiomatica ellos fueron los primeros en usar el traductor de google.un lugar para quedarse varios dias

Clara war eine wunderbare Gastgeberin - freundlich, hat beim verspäteten Check-in auf uns gewartet, alles in der Wohnung erklärt. Die Wohnung ist wie beschrieben - super Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden, die Terrasse ist zu jeder Tageszeit nutzbar, weil es zwei Schirme gibt. Und drin ist es gemütlich, sauber, genug Schränke - alles da. Sehr gern kommen wir wieder, wenn wir mal in der Nähe sind.

This place is what I imagined when I close my eyes and think of Tuscany. The view from the bedroom is amazing and the apartment is adorable. There is AC but we didn’t end up needing it since the windows let in such a glorious breeze. The kitchen was well equipped, we were just missing paper towels. The pool was great with a fantastic view although it would have been helpful to have access to pool towels. The location is great and about a 15 minute drive into San Gimignano so you probably need a car. It was also a quick drive to supermarkets and nearby wineries which we loved. Berta was really helpful during check-in and provided us with recommendations in the area.

Voor de derde keer mochten we verblijven in het Family Guest house bij Andrea en zijn familie, de ontvangst was zoals gewoonlijk gastvrij en liefdevol. We hebben hier een paar dagen gewerkt en ook daarvoor is het een uitstekende locatie. Verder is het huis een prima uitvalsbasis voor een wijntour, bezoek aan de mooiste plekken en steden in Toscane en het ligt een kleine drie kwartier van de kust. Een toplocatie!

Sono stata nella bellissima casetta di Bernice con il mio compagno e 2 bimbi piccoli. Tutto molto piacevole, soprattutto le cene all'aperto nel rigoglioso giardino con palme, eucalipti ed ulivi, il barbecue, il silenzio e la piscina. In campagna ma con il mare di Punta Ala e Castiglione della Pescaia facilmente raggiungibile. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana molto tranquilla e rilassante.

Un petit chalet et son jardinet avec piscine situé idéalement au cœur de la Toscane, les villes de Pise, Sienne, Florence et Lucca sont a plus ou moins 1h de route. Nicoletta et son père nous ont réservé un accueil très chaleureux ! Ils sont adorables et très a l'écoute, si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit ils répondent très vite ! la piscine est entretenue tous les jours et donc d'une propreté absolue, quel bonheur de pouvoir s'y détendre après une journée de visite dans la chaleur Toscane, puis de déguster son dîner en terrasse avec vue sur les magnifiques couchers de soleil quotidiens ! le chalet est propre et contient tout le nécessaire (si je veux chipoter il manquerait quelques petites choses dans la cuisine commes quelques couverts en plus et un saladier ou deux par exemple, mais cela permettrait juste de passer de quelque chose de ja très bien à super, donc c'est vraiment si on cherche la petite bête) et la climatisation est très appréciable. Merci pour ce beau séjour !

Ce séjour chez Massimo a été paradisiaque. Nous sommes venus pour visiter Florence et rentrer le soir après une journée de marché pour y retrouver du calme et un environnement sain était parfait. Une impression d’être seuls au monde avec une vue lointaine sur Florence. Bassin d’eau et barbecue étaient bienvenus pour combler la perfection du séjour. Nous n’avons pas testé le four à pizza mais nous comptons revenir vite et le tester. Nous avons même eu droit à un spectacle de lucioles tous les soirs … parfait. Merci pour cette parenthèse de vie si ressourçante Massimo. À bientôt.

God is in the details. Il Grande Prato is a wonderful place that offers you al the comfort you wish : a huge domain with several nice spots to sit, chill and enjoy the great views. The garden, the cottages, the pool, everything is well done with an eye for the details. Giulia and her people are very friendly and helpful and make you feel at ease the whole time. Also the dinners we've enjoyed in this unique setting were fantastic.

Ruhiges, abgelegenes, mitten im Wald stehendes Ferienhaus. Alles entspricht den Bildern und der Beschreibung. Es waren sehr schöne, entspannte Ferien. Selbst wenn es unten an der Küste 35 Grad hatte, war es am Haus angenehm kühl. Es war eine schöne Zeit. Die Vermieter/Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Weg zum Haus führt über eine Schotterstraße, diese ist an drei Anstiegen etwas schwieriger zu befahren, aber die Anwohner fahren dort auch mit ihren kleinen Standardautos entlang. Nur für die letzten 100 Meter ist ein geländegängiges Fahrzeug zu empfehlen. Man kann das Auto aber auch vor diesem Anstieg stehen lassen, die Gastgeber helfen, dann das Gepäck hochzufahren, mit ihrem Auto. Wer die Natur und den Wald liebt und Entspannung sucht, für den ist diese Unterkunft genau richtig.
