Holiday rentals with lake access in Celerina/Schlarigna

Innocenta and Fabio’s sparkling, spacious apartment was the perfect base for a wonderful stay in Varenna on Lake Como. The apartment itself is beautiful with everything we needed - a great bathroom, abundance of towels, shampoo etc and a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable bed. Everything was spotless and the attention to detail was amazing. Innocenta and Fabio provided a lot of food and snacks and a delicious apperitivo and nibbles to welcome us. The apartment has a garden for the use of guests with lovely outdoor furniture and a panoramic view of Lake Como. To make this place even more wonderful, Innocenta and Fabio made such an effort to help and advise us - their friendly hospitality added so much value to our experience. Thank you for your kindness and for making our stay so memorable.

My siblings and I, + our significant others, traveled to Italy for the first time together for our cousins wedding in Florence. We decided to find a place to relax after the busy wedding festivities and always wanted to visit Lake Como. When I saw this listing I knew it would be the perfect place for us. Oh, how right I was!!! Villa Nella could not have been a more perfect stay. The views were absolutely breathtaking (even from the bathrooms)! We truly felt so at peace and so comfortable in this home. It is so conveniently located to everything, and we had the best time exploring the town of Varenna and all of the beauty it has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed being outdoors on the front balcony and the side yard! The weather for us was PERFECT. The beds were all very comfortable and the bathrooms were very spacious. They also had a packet of all of their recommendations for dining out, shopping, sightseeing, etc. that was very helpful. We can’t wait to come back again soon! ❤️

We had a wonderful time in Gera Lario! Gabriele was a wonderful host and gave us great restaurant recommendations. The house was stunning, especially with the balcony overlooking the lake. We felt very welcomed.

Ce logement est très agréable avec sa magnifique vue sur le lac. La terrasse est un plus malgré quelques voitures qui passent au-dessus. Le logement est très bien équipé et correspond à la description.

Tolles Apartment oberhalb von Menaggio. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse auf den Comer See und die Berge ist traumhaft. Das Apartment ist sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet und liegt in einer sehr ruhigen Umgebung. Das Zentrum von Menaggio ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, gute Wandermöglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung. Georgia Louise hat sofort auf Rückfragen reagiert und war sehr hilfsbereit. Diese Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Fabio ist ein toller Gastgeber. Er ist rund um die Uhr für seine Gäste da. Man kann ihn alles fragen. Er ist zuvorkommend, freundlich und immer darauf bedacht, dass es einem gut geht. Die Unterkunft sowie Fabio sind auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Perfect location for getting the ferry boats. Close to the train station. Restaurants next door for convenience. Beautiful walking path along the lake to other restaurants and shops.

It's a very peaceful place with a nice terrace and a lot of plants. The road is quite audible from the bedroom and the curtain is very thin, so good to bring earplugs and an eye mask. All in all, it was a pleasant stay, I would recommend it.

Apartment is absolutely fantastic … beautiful with everything you need . The bed is comfy , every amenity you need in the kitchen and the bathroom is very clean with great shower . Mario is a fantastic host … very friendly and gives great recommendations for local restaurants and trips around the area . The best thing about this Accomodation is the location … amazing , no more than 5 minutes walk to anything ❤️ Thank you Mario for an amazing stay .

Absolutely wonderful stay and amazing host. The apartment was exactly as described and the views and location were perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony, looking over the water and watching and hearing the people below. There are 2 wine bars just outside the door and also many restaurants. Alberto picked us up at the station and explained the apartment and area. Giorgio’s kindness was immeasurable. The trains had unexpectedly stopped running and he personally booked our transportation back to Milan and drove us to meet a new express bus. We could have never done this without him, as this was unpublished at the time. What a wonderful man! Varenna is a beautiful small village and there are many outstanding restaurants and things to do. Our highlight was taking a cooking class with Chef Marco, Chef’s Table, and later dining at his new restaurant, La Scarpetta. We recommend visiting the villas in town, taking the Taxi Boat to Villa Balbianello and hiking to the waterfall in Fiumelatte.

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

What a wonderful apartment. The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the lake, its close proximity to the town centre, Stefeno as a host made this one of our most memorable and enjoyable stays! Stefeno met us at the dock when we arrived and even met us for coffee when we left. Truely a Super Host

Moreno hat uns herzlich begrüßt und uns direkt alles in der Wohnung erklärt und Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Zwischen Wohnung und See verläuft die "Hauptstraße" die etwas laut ist, aber daran gewöhnt man sich schnell. Supermärkte sind in 10 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar genauso wie kleine Städte mit Strandpromenaden. Man ist sehr auf das Auto angewiesen, was uns aber nicht unbedingt störte. Leider ist auf das WLAN kein Verlass, es fällt häufig aus, aber auch das störte uns nicht unbedingt. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön und wir haben unsere Zeit in Moreno's Wohnung sehr genossen.

Petite maison avec superbe vue sur le lac ! L'espace extérieur est un grand plus surtout pour les enfants (notre fille de deux ans a adoré le toboggan). Nous n'avons pas vraiment profité de la plage privée (car trop occupés à visiter les environs) mais nous avons adoré emprunter le passage secret. Du coup nous devrons revenir en été pour en profiter plus ;) Nous avons eu la chance de rencontrer Salvatore qui est très réactif et accueillant. Le cottage est très bien placé pour découvrir le Lac et nous avons même fait de jolies balades à pied sur place. Une adresse que l'on va garder précieusement.

Wir waren für 8 Nächte, Mitte-Ende August, im Cottage und hatten eine wunderbare Zeit. Der Kontakt mit Marina, Antje und Andrea war überaus freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfreich. Antje und Andrea sprechen Deutsch, was sehr hilfreich war. Die Unterkunft ist sehr neu eingerichtet und hat uns vom Stil super gefallen. Sie ist einfach aber stilvoll gestaltet. Was man braucht ist da und auf Unnötiges wurde verzichtet. Der Hammer ist der kurze Weg zu einem wunderschönen kleinen Strand, den man sich ausschließich mit den Nachbarn teilt. Im Unterschied zu den öffentliche Stränden findet man dort auch Schatten und kann so leicht mehrere Stunden lesend und schwimmend verbringen. Der kleine Garten am Cottage bietet sehr viel Ruhe und Rückzug. Zu unserer Zeit gab es viele Stechmücken. Es scheint, die sind nur deshalb da, damit man sich noch nicht gleich ganz im Paradies fühlt. Das kleine Haus besticht durch seine optimale Lage mit gradiosem Panoramablick auf den Comer See und die Berge von der Terrasse aus, dem eigenen Garten, der direkten Strandlage und dem eigenen Pool, der im Gegensatz zu den Fotos noch verbessert wurde. Ansonsten geben die Bilder einen realistischen Eindruck wieder. Man muss wissen, dass das Haus wirklich klein ist und es direkt an der in der Hauptsaison sicherlich recht belebten Strandpromenade liegt; also man sitzt auf der Terrasse sozusagen fast auf dieser Strandpromenade, die aber nur für Fußgänger zugänglich ist. Dafür ist es dann aber auch nur ein paar Schritte zum Ufer und hinten raus hat man ja auch noch den schönen Garten und einen kleinen Pool ganz für sich allein. Und in der Nebensaison dürfte dies ohnehin kein Problem sein, es ist alles sehr idyllisch. Daher ist die Unterkunft ein wirkliches kleines Paradies und vermutlich die beste in der direkten Umgebung. Auch unser Hund war sehr willkommen und hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Möblierung könnte ein wenig anspruchsvoller sein angesichts des Preises, andererseits macht die phänomenale Lage dies locker wett. Die Kommunikation mit Rita war hervorragend und unkompliziert und wir können diese Unterkunft daher von ganzem Herzen empfehlen. Wir sind sehr froh, dieses Schmuckstück gefunden zu haben.

I very much enjoyed how cozy the location was with my two friends. However, I did not realize how much of a hike it would be to the cottage as well as the fact that the upstairs could only be reached through the outside.

Le logement est impeccable, très propre et suréquipé. Il est excentré et au calme, dans un cadre privilégié en bord de lac (petite plage privée et de beaux chemins de rando en partant de la maison). À 10 mn en voiture du centre et du port, de très bons restaurants à proximité (moins de 5mn en voiture) L’hôte Marina est au top, adorable et très serviable. Le + du + : TRÈS DOGFRIENDLY ils sont acceptés partout, tout le temps. Tout était parfait ;-)

die Unterkunft ist ausreichend groß mit einem Schlafzimmer, einem Wohnzimmer einer kleinen Küche und Bad. die Lage ist traumhaft mit Blick auf den See und einen kleinen Strand gibt es auch in direkter Nähe:) die Unterkunft war sauber und die Küche ist mit allen notwendigen Küchenutensilien ausgestattet. wir kommen gerne wieder

We had a fantastic time staying in Dervio at Francesco’s place and exploring the towns surrounding lake Como. The place is perfect for so many reasons, the location is great, right on a small beach with amazing views and a walking path that takes you into town. It’s a short 7 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes to downtown area with restaurants. There are tons of old walkways that allow you to explore the area. We spent a couple days taking the train and ferry to Bellano, Veranna, and Bellagio (very happy to be in Dervio). We also have two small kids and found the place was great for families with crib, beds with guard rails, and a high chair, along with a playground that just out the front door. The gates were excellent for preventing kids from going to the road or to the lake. The best part was Francesco and his family, they are very warm and welcoming! We spent time with him, his father, aunt, and cousin and very much enjoyed getting to know them!
