If you're up for a little adventure, you can get downtown / Congress Bridge by kayak (25 min depending on wind) Ride Sharing: Ride Austin, Fasten, Fare, Wings Bike Rental: Green Frog (weekly, daily); Red Bike stands Bus: #17 bus to the convention center; #22 goes cross town to Mopac Walking distance from Rainey Street, Cesar Chavez, East 6th Street, and just over a mile to downtown & the convention center This is our beautiful, newly built home. Our garage apartment is nestled in the rear of our backyard with stairs leading to the unit. It's newly renovated. We are walking distance (.2 miles) to all the famous Hyde Park eateries ( Quack's, Curra's, Asti's, etc.). We live on the same property, so you will see us! No smokers please, we like to keep our residence smelling fresh and clean. We will charge you an additional fee if the apartment smells like smoke after your stay.

The cozy cottage is a detached guest studio nestled under heritage pecan trees near our main house, a 1930s bungalow surrounded by a relaxing garden full of fruit bearing trees.
