Guest house holiday rentals in Austin

Emily’s little guesthouse was a perfect find. We stayed 5days and had everything we needed, it was well stocked, even a blender and Texas Pecan coffee. The guesthouse was quiet, peaceful and very comfortable. Loved the location. Emily was friendly and gave clear instructions and responds quickly to messages. I hope to stay there again when we are visiting family.

Really great place. Very quiet and private on a really quiet road yet close to downtown and East Austin. Really enjoyed the location. Mike was a great host. Very responsive. I would highly recommend and will probably be back!

Had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Jessa and Blake’s guesthouse. Clean, cozy, cute space, and welcoming. Has everything you’ll need. Even though the address is on a busy road the guesthouse is very quiet. Easy parking on the side streets. Sheets and towels are good quality. The bed is VERY comfortable. Plenty of hangars for clothes. Air conditioning worked great. Water pressure was good. If you come back at night walkways are illuminated and a motion sensor light comes on. The neighborhood is one of Austin’s originals so if you like houses with character this is the spot. Grocery stores and places to eat within a ten minute drive. Would absolutely come back and stay at the guest house!

I stayed for 2 months and the apartment was just perfect for what I needed. It is not an apartment to go work in, it is a home to come back to rest and warm your heart after walking, biking, playing volleyball and working in the cafes around downtown. You really feel like in a lux tree house. Amy and Nick were always willing to help and answer any questions. The place is silent, a healthy family environment. For an adventurous person, it is perfect🙏🏼🙏🏼.It is spacious and is a little bigger than what I expected from looking at the pictures. I will definitely be back. Also: kitchen perfectly equipped, cozy living room, comfy bed and pillows, and the lighting is so warm too. 🫀🫀.

Great place to stay that's in the center of the city that's tucked into a quiet and cute neighborhood. Very convenient location, friendly hosts, and everything we needed for a weekend away out of town.

If you are looking for a private, clean, relaxing space this is it! Ryan and Roxie were great hosts with a beautiful home. Super easy to find and get into, they had double ply toilet paper and a comfortable bed. Very bright and uniquely decorated. They had the best breakfast about a 6 min walk from rental space that was banging (Bird Bird Biscuit). Highly recommend their space for a fun relaxing way to enjoy Austin. We will definitely be back next time we are in Austin.

What an AWESOME place! My boys (11, 8, 5) wanted to move in permanently. We really enjoyed the pool and it was a perfect place for our family of 4. Allison was a great host and provided lots of excellent recommendations. The house was better than expected, super clean, and we would definitely be back!

We loved staying at Allison and Steven’s guesthouse for a week! The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and in a great location. The guest house was very comfortable, cute, and felt spacious. The backyard was lovely and we felt right at home. Allison and Steven were very friendly and welcoming. We’d love to come back next time we’re in ATX. Definitely recommend!

Johnah's place was perfect for our quick stay, had everything we needed. It was cool and quiet. Looked just like photo's and the bathroom was beautiful! I'd definitely stay here again.

Rita’s place is close to my Shady Hollow family… very convenient. I’ve stayed there a couple of times and it will always be my first choice for future stays.

I absolutely loved my stay here. It was a perfect location for my first time visiting Austin - so easy to catch a ride downtown. The patio has a gorgeous view of the DT Austin skyline. David was so friendly and helpful. The place is very comfortable and I felt right at home.

I stayed at Esmeralda’s tiny home for 3 nights. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that Esmeralda had thought of everything. The space is beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail—cozy, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that made me feel both pampered and cared for. She provided so many extras I didn’t expect: plush towels, quality toiletries, snacks, a well-stocked kitchen, and fridge w/creamer and waters, etc. . It felt like staying at a boutique retreat made just for me. Mornings were magical—waking up to the soft sounds of nearby sheep & roosters and sipping coffee with a peaceful view. At night, the quiet was absolute bliss. Esmeralda is also incredibly kind, generous, and communicative. She checked in just enough to make sure I had everything I needed but always gave me space to relax and enjoy. This tiny home radiates love and care. I had an ideal time here and left feeling recharged. I’ll be back!

Beautiful place, peaceful property. Comfortable one bedroom unit with everything you need for a stay!

Amina was proactive, helpful, and friendly in our correspondence. The space was as expected and matched the description — cozy, clean, and modern! We appreciated having a covered parking spot during the summer heat, as we were traveling with our baby. There was even a pack and play, although we didn’t use it. The location was wonderful to all the good food and spots we wanted to visit this time around in my old hometown. It felt very private even with all the huge windows (loved!), thanks to the shades. The only thing that we thought would match a 5 star review more was the bed and linens. The mattress was comfortable but the bed made a lot of noise with any movement. The bedding that was provided was pilling and could use an upgrade/update. Most of the bedding was microfiber or a cotton blend. 100% cotton would be a noticeable skin-friendly and worthy investment. Just an FYI for sensitive-skin people like us, as that was the only less than perfect thing about our stay.

This was a perfect location for a great stay in Austin. I couldn’t leave a higher recommendation. Charming place close to wonderful restaurants. The host was very helpful and went above and beyond. We would stay here again.

Camilo’s place is just as it appears in the photos, super cute and very comfortable. His instructions were great and the description is accurate. The neighborhood is quiet and has a great park nearby. Camilo’s a great host (awesome communication!), and I would definitely stay here again.

This stay hit all the marks. It’s in a great location with quick access to everything we wanted to do while also providing the peace and privacy you rarely get this close to Austin. We always felt welcomed coming/going by the hosts and hope to stay again in the future.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kinan’s place! From the moment we arrived, everything was exactly as was described - actually, it exceeded our expectations! The home was spotless, private, and unique. The house was stocked with everything we needed - coffee, an iron(!), washer/dryer, and a spectacular view!
