She has organized this space with guests in mind: extra hooks, shelves, storage spots, little extras here and there, sensibly placed for easy access. You'll know what I mean when you visit. And do. it was perfect for me and my husband and three teen daughters. Thank you, Andrea!

We loved staying here and it was the perfect location for our family Easter! I truly can’t say enough great things about this cabin and the owners! It was very clean and well appointed with anything you need and the owners were very accommodating and kind! They helped with a couple requests, including a pack and play and high chair. We were able to cook a large Easter dinner with the stocked kitchen appliances and cookware. The property is very serene with plenty of privacy and great options for hiking around. The location is also not too far to get to the grocery store and restaurants. Lastly, the pool table and hot tub were a hit! We highly recommend to stay here and know we will definitely be back for another stay!

Took a trip to Holiday World and wanted some place to stay that wasn’t a hotel! The hot tub definitely got used after long days at the park and beds were very comfy. We had a 40-45min drive from the park so I’m not sure we’ll do that again but would return for a Patoka lake getaway!

The cabin was beautiful, easy to find, and had plenty of space for our group of 6. It rained the whole weekend so soaking in the hot tun in a screened in area listening to the rain was so peaceful. Location to local stops was perfect. Highly recommend staying here and would stay again. Wes is a great host who would have been available if we had needed was very responsive and accommodating to a sort of last minute change. Great host, great place!

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

Our stay was perfection! If you are looking for a home with incredible attention to detail, private, and peaceful - this is it!

We had a wonderful stay! Dustin responded right away when I had questions. We felt at home and had so much to do at the house. The barn was a huge hit with kids and they liked fishing the pond! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we need to cook when needed. The peacock visited us twice, he was so pretty! We hiked at Mammoth Cave, hiked and saw the Forest Giants at Bernheim Arboretum, visited The Jim Beam Distillery and downtown Bardstown restaurants and shops! So much fun, it made for a memorable birthday celebration.

What a great peaceful retreat, not too far away from Louisville. Great to relax with the birds chirping around us and not much else to disturb us! The place had a wide open but warm feel letting in plenty of light during the day. We enjoyed hanging outside on the deck and also took short hikes into the woods alongside the creek - which were so peaceful and nice. The master bedroom was cozy as well to relax in and watch movies. John was very accommodating to meet all of our needs!

The cabin was exactly as shown in the photos. Key code to open the door, which is nice so you don’t have to carry a key. He had some essentials like condiments, spices and sugar stocked in the kitchen. It felt like home.

We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable. It was a great place to relax after spending our days at Holliday world. The host was very friendly and responsive when communicating. Would recommend!

Tina and Wendell (I think was his name ) . Amazing amazing people . Really enjoyed having them around to talk . Horse shoe pits are amazing . The fire pit amazing . Even the cats were friendly and loving . So peaceful . Tina gave us jar of sauce for our dinner . Would love to come back for visit . Thanks for having us .

My friends and I had an amazing time at Woodland Acres! 🤩🥳 The cabin was spacious and clean. The space very comfortably fit our group of 7 adults. There is so much to do on the property. Our favorite was fishing in the pond, sitting around the fire, and grilling 🎣 🪵 🍔 Stephanie is a great host! Exceptional communication. And it was a close drive to many distilleries (we went to Makers Mark, Willett, and Lux Row!)🥃 The best Airbnb I have visited!

Loved the cabin! All the needed amenities and more. Owner was near if needed but did not impede on our privacy. Hopefully we will visit again!!

This place is great if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. It’s peaceful and spacious with a nice hangout area in the barn. Never have to leave if you don’t want to, or go check out the local spots like winery, brewery, food, etc. Justin and Damien’s responsiveness to questions/issues was very fast and professional. Would stay here again anytime!

Dominique’s cabin is amazing! Peaceful surroundings. We booked for the Kentucky Derby and could not have been more happy with the place. Only wish I could have spent more time there. Will definitely try to make it back up in the winter to use the fireplace. She is the most gracious host I’ve ever had. Even had fresh flowers waiting on the table for us. Couldn’t have asked for a better host!

Wonderful stay, everything was great. Loved the peaceful surroundings, the hot tub, porch swing, fire pit, and various other thoughtful touches and amenities. Host was friendly and checked in with us to ensure all was well. Would stay again for sure.

Our stay was amazing! Much needed getaway. We rode our motorcycle and the views did not disappoint! This was our second time at Tim’s place and plan to visit again next year!

What a wonderful property! The historic house was beautiful. The house is spacious, clean and just great for all ages. The grounds are beautiful. Lots to do outside! Not one, but three play sets for the kids! Yard games for the adults. Lots of wood for a campfire! Tim & his wife are very friendly, kind caring folks! They have put a lot of thought into the amenities of this rental. We all had a great time & will definitely return!!

My 2 sisters, my niece, and I stayed here for a random girls weekend! There was plenty of room for 4 adult women and the screened in hot tub was so awesome. We ended up not doing a lot of the activities because we didn’t make reservations for kayaks or boats in advance and we were only there 2 days. Overall we had an excellent time and I would definitely stay there again.

We just got back from our stay at Susan’s cabin this weekend and oh. My. GOODNESS! The location is absolutely breathtaking, beautiful and spacious cabin (two king beds being a major plus), family/kid friendly with games and baby gear like a high chair and a baby gate which came in handy for our 11 month old! We spent so much time outdoors and thoroughly enjoyed fishing in the pond out front! I cannot recommend this place enough. They are quick to respond to any messages and all of the instructions for everything are super clear. Susan and her husband were so kind and accommodating, they even gave us a ton of fresh eggs from their chickens which was incredible! Seriously, if you’re considering booking this stay, DO IT!

Such an adorable cabin! Every amenity thoughtfully available, and the cabin was exceptionally clean. All sheets and towels were hotel quality. Jennifer was very friendly, responsive, and flexible. Very reasonable check-out guidelines, too. It makes such a difference when a homeowner is personally looking after their Airbnb, rather than a big company. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

We have stayed at many Air bnbs. This is by far one of our favorites. We have stayed in cabins in NY, TN, ME, MD, and PA. The description is as described. But the pictures dont do enough justice on the wonderful home. The privacy is great. Its so quiet. Just so peaceful. We traveled here on a family trip to support our niece in a national competition. We all had enough space without feeling crammed. Loved the porch to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The hot tub is a nice advantage as well to relax after the long car ride there. Julie was extremely responsive and proactive with communication. Julie thank you for allowing us to be in your beautiful home. You have a beautiful family as well. As a mom with 2 boys and 1 girl just like you. Thank you. We look forward to hopefully returning in the future.
