The accommodation was exactly as described. Everything was extremely clean and pristine, from the couch to the cutlery. There were a variety of board games to choose from which kept us up late at night. The outdoor space was one of the highlights as the view of the lake was spectacular and the surroundings were quiet and serene. Overall, a delightful experience and would definitely recommend!

Wow what a beautiful place! We booked this for a special wedding anniversary to celebrate with our close family. The gift of a bottle of wine and a cake was such a lovely touch. Thank you so much. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mayflower. The young children loved seeing the ducks and wildlife come right up to the deck, and the adults loved the hot tub. The robes were a lovely touch too. We had no problem finding the Mayflower and the instructions for checking in and the online guidebook were very useful. There is so much to do on the doorstep if you can drag yourself away from the lodge. It was such a peaceful and magical place and somewhere I would love to return to.

Compact and well designed place to stay above a terraced garden, with views across to the downs. Plenty of wildlife and birds. I heard foxes and owls and saw bats catching moths at twilight.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful studio - it was the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. The property is immaculate, peaceful, and thoughtfully maintained to a very high standard. Ideal for two people, the space was exactly as described - calm, clean, and welcoming, with lovely extra touches like milk and bottled water waiting for us on arrival, which made us feel instantly at home. The location is fantastic - tucked away in a quiet village offering plenty of privacy, yet just a short drive to charming Cotswold villages and local attractions. The studio itself had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break, and it smelled wonderful as soon as we stepped through the door. Christel was a fantastic host - communicative, with great recommendations for things to do in the area. Her attention to detail and hospitality made a big difference. Overall, this was a real gem of a find. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and highly recommend!
